It's difficult to not be skeptical when a queen sized mattress comes in a box this size. I was very pleasantly surprised though. Other mattresses in a box that I or others I know have purchased needed to "fluff" for 24-48 hours before use. The instructions for this mattress say it's ready for use immediately. It certainly was ready for use that quickly. It is by far the most comfortable mattress that I've ever slept on. It's very soft, but not to the point of having no support. I have psoriatic arthritis and often woke with sore joints. Since I've been sleeping on this mattress, I haven't woken to sore hips, back, or shoulders at all. The cover of the mattress is incredibly soft to the touch. The instructions warn that there can be a foam odor to the mattress at first, but there is no unpleasant odor that I can detect. The only negative point I can find so far is that my cat doesn't want to leave my bed!
we needed a new mattress and i went straight to the sealy brand. this mattress is so comfortable and the sleep quality is amazing. i wake up feeling refreshed and ready to face the day. plus it comes compressed in the box which made it easy to maneuver up my steps. if you want good quality sleep, this is the mattress you need.
Received item in great condition. This item is heavy so it requires 2 people for lifting. This is a 10inch gel memory foam mattress in a box. Very carefully open the box. Dont use any knives or razor blades on this when opening. Once you have it opened, lift the item onto your box spring or bed frame. Please allow 8hrs for item to fully fluff out before using. This mattress is very comfortable to sleep on. We are very pleased with it for it can hold up to 660lbs of weight. When we are done sleeping, the mattress returns back to normal with no creases in it and thats because of the combination memory foam and gel inside. We would for sure get another one of these down the road.
I was looking for a new mattress for our bed and there are so many options to choose from.I am glad I receive this Sealy Essentials 8 Gel Memory Foam Mattress-in-a-Box. We have been sleeping on it for a couple weeks now and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised how comfortable the mattress really is. I know that Seally makes quality products and this mattress is no exception. It is quite firm yet super comfy. I love the fact that it kinda shapes to your body when you lie down so it doesn't feel like you are lying on a flat board, but at the same time you don't sink into the mattress. The surface can be easily cleaned with a wet soapy cloth (not soaking wet of course). You can add a matress cover if you want to keep the matress surface clean. Another great thing is that it comes in a box vacuum rolled. It is so easy to carry it inside the house - not like in the old days where you have to have a few people to do the job. Overall I think it is a great matress and I would recommend it for your house.
OK, so I am pretty flexible when it comes to mattresses. I do tend to go for more medium firm to firm, mattresses and soft mattresses. But I'm not that picky. However, my husband as much pick hear about the mattress that we sleep on. I have gotten memory foam mattresses. I have gotten mattresses that have some built-in Springs and memory foam. However, this Sealy memory foam mattress is the bomb. I find it to be one of the most if not THE MOST comfortable mattress I have ever gotten. The biggest test, however, was the husband test. He slept like a baby. All. Night. Long. Maybe too good of a mattress as he sleeps so soundly and snores like an old fashioned steam engine. I will sooner endure it with ear plugs if necessary as this mattress is THAT awesome. Do you or your spouse or partner if you have one a favor and buy this mattress!
I love the Sealy Essentials 12 Gel Memory Mattress because it is so comfortable to sleep in. I can sleep in this mattress for many hours and I don't want to get out of bed due to how comfortable it is. The mattress came tightly rolled and all i did was remove the secured wrap and unfolded the mattress. The mattress started to rise and get thicker to form itself into a mattress. I was amazed to see how it rise, this was so awesome to watch. I slept on this mattress the same night I unfolded it and I had the best sleep in years. The mattress has the perfect amount of softness and firmness, somewhere in the middle i would say. When i sleep on this mattress I don't sweat at night. The mattress has the right amount of cooling gel to keep my body at a normal temperature level. In the morning i wake up so fresh and rested due to the perfect amount of cooling gel. I love that this mattress has the perfect thickness so when i sleep on it, my whole body relaxes and I can fall asleep easily. The mattress material is soft and does not have a rough texture. There are no tears or bulky sides on the mattress after unfolding it. The mattress looks and feels great after I unwrap it. All my bed sheets fit this mattress and look wonderful on this mattress. I am very happy with the quality, size, comfort and look of this mattress. I will definitely recommend this Sealy Mattress.
Sealy's Gel Memory foam mattress is the perfect antidote for the sleep deprived. The 10 inches of foam provides a nice comfortable feel that is neither too hard nor too soft. The mattress stays cool and also remains firm enough not to distract your sleeping partner when you move or adjust your sleeeping position. The removable knit cover was a nice plus point. I did notice I was getting a better sleep and waking up more refreshed than with other mattresses. Removing the Queen sized mattress from the small box that it came in was a breeze and as instructed, the mattress was ready for use after 24 hours. Not sure how long the memory foam will retain its properties but since it comes with a 10 year warranty, I am confident it will serve my needs.
I received the Sealy mattress. It's made of medium density foam. It's great for back, stomach and side sleepers. It came in a box that weighed about 45 pounds. I received a queen size. I plan to buy another similar sealy mattress for my kids room. I usually prefer pocket coils and foam, which Sealy makes, but this all foam mattresses is well made and comfy too. My son says it's comfy and I would sleep on it, way more comfy than hotel beds. For the price points of sealy mattress it's great. Sealy mattresses hold up well and usually don't bend in the middle like a hammock. When I get Sealy I know the quality is there. Plus this foam mattress is manufactured in the USA but not all of the components are made in the USA.
perfect, except it had a small rip
I know I got it at a discount, but this is unacceptable. Returns are very difficult for something like this. Sold and shipped by Walmart. They knew it was defective and not worth anything. Not ok no matter what price I got. This is trash.
