This toy is exactly what you should expect for a TOY digger. I bought it for my son after lots of research and he LOVES it. He is in the construction equipment and riding toys stage. He runs around the house in the hard hat and since he's taken the tractor outside to scoop up dirt, it's now a garage toy instead of an in the house toy. He digs holes and builds "castles" with the rocks included (and some from our yard). Cool sound effects and an all around great toy. My 27 month old loves everything about it--the steering wheel, noise buttons, storage seat, vehicle light decals, teeth on the digger bucket, rotating arm, the colors that look like the dirt diggers, etc. “I am writing this review as part of a contest”***

Great Dirt Digger toy, Tough as nails & lot of fun

This thing rocks!!! This design is adorable! All my friends and family compliment on how "real" it looks. I can't believe how crazy durable it is. So awesome! While playing with this ride toy kids can learn and experience the gear vehicle because it has Two speed Forward and Reverse functions and power lock brakes. You Do not need to take out the battery to charge it,just plugged in charger cord to the vechile, couldn't have been easier. Kids can ride-on with rugged off-road design and durable tires for any floor surface. The 12V Battery and charger can last for 30-45 minutes or sometime more than that. Kids will have lot of fun and learn how to be a Dirt Digger. Its simple to put together,this thing goes for hours, and is solid on and off road. All in all I'm pleased with the product, I felt the price was fair. I am writing this review as part of a contest.

Powerful and Cool Looking Battery Operated Digger

Very powerful battery operated vehicle. Perfect for little ones. Very realistic looking – has the roll bar, a smoke stack, and I love the eyes on the headlights. Comes with the 12V battery charger. All you need to do is plug the charger into the digger's charging hole and the charger into an outlet and voila! Charging time varies from 8-12 hours depending on how depleted the battery is. Easy to use buttons/switches. It has a high/low speed switch, the forward or reverse switch, power on/off button, and a start/stop foot switch on the bottom right side floor. Vehicle runs in 2 speeds – low speed (1.75 mph) and high speed (3.5 mph). The digger has both a left and right lifting arm to lift the digger. Very cool looking and built to last. Love this product!

I am happy that all of the sounds and music are not so loud as to grate on the nerves although they weren't too discerning when choosing the sounds which are more appropriate for a fire engine or police car than for an excavator or construction truck. It may take a good hour to get him off it to open any of his other gifts. ≈From the images, I thought the headlights would light up, but they don't. The only lights are in the steering wheel which I thinks it pretty cool. That's all that really matters, right? The songs include Frosty the Snowman and Frere Jaque, so it's a funny assortment but kids may seem to really like it. Kids can be use it inside the house and outside in the banks around the plowed driveway. It doesn't seem too sturdy so I don't know how well it will work in the sand or dirt in the summer, but fluffy snow banks are perfect. I am writing this review as part of a contest

So much fun

Grandson is 2 1/2 and goes everywhere on this. It has a push pedal accelerator so once he had foot strength it was no limits. It helps him eye hand foot thinking all at the same time. It's great outdoor fun

One Happy Toddler

I bought this for my 2.5 year old grand son. He absolutely loves this unit. Every day he's bagging to come over and visit Pop and ride his tractor. He handles it very well. When the battery runs down, which is about one hour, he understands the tractor needs to go to sleep and charge up. He's elated when he comes over and sees the tractor outside the garage door meaning it's awake and ready to go.

My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves this. He has a few ride on s at home and has become a pro at his young age. Father, son, and grandson (lol) put it together in no time. My grandson loves the faster speed (2 1/2 mph). The men hitched a wood wagon to it too and it did not slow it down at all. He'll be able to ride for a while because of the weight limit.

Our own construction site!

My kiddos love machines! Toys, TV shows, constructions sites, you name it. This "loader" allows them to actually ride a machine, move the knobs, raise the scoop up and down and "work". The scoop is raised enough so that they will not get stuck when moving forward or backward, which is good since they will likely be doing more driving than scooping.
