The pipes all attach to each other until you obtain the needed height to reach your gutters. Just like magic all the lose leaves take flight and scatter all over everything. On the roof, all over the yard, and on top of the car. Just one big cloud of leaves. A second pass is needed to blow all the leaves that settled on the roof top off otherwise they will end up back in the gutter with the next rain. That takes care of a big part of gutter cleaning. Next, it is up the ladder to get all the dirt and yuck scraped out of the gutter. This wonderful device does have limits. A fun thing to do is to remove the crook end, and chase the dog around the yard with a blast of air.
It works for my Ryobi 40v whisper series blower, build and quality is good, not flimsy. Good price and very fast shipping from walmart and Worx. It arrived in 2 days.
worked great! used a rubber reducer to connect blower to 90,it worked better than supplied universal. ebay has reducers in all sizes for 6-8$ free shipping, they are turbo charger connectors.
I bought this along with my new leaf blower in Sept. (CORDLESS BLOWER, 40V LI-ION, 430 CFM, BRUSHLESS MOTOR ). I found it can work, but was awkward for me to keep the blower and tubing flowing with the air ( as they are connected by way of a "universal" adapter that is made from sturdy fabric). After deciding that it was too awkward using that universal fabric adapter, I reviewed the example pictures of how this gutter kit can be used and I saw that one of the style blowers from Worx - does not need to use the fabric adapter. so I ordered that blower tool - WG545.9-SHARE. Because this tool keeps the blower itself in line with the tubing such that it all moves together as 1 tool, instead of two tools bridged with a fabric adapter. this made for all the blowing out my 2 widowed neighbors gutters and mine as well OOHH so much easier because the tool works together as 1 instead of 2 (one in each hand). I barely got home today to simply unpack the arrived shipment to then put it to work ASAP. Love it!!
the cloth sleeve bends and cuts off the flow of air. I am using on a Tanaka backpack blower and it is useless to me for the reason I purchased it. Poor design as far as I am concerned for my needs. I would describe it as barely universal.
I am not impressed with this gutter cleaner!!! It is a two person job, especially if you are a 73 year old female trying to clean leaves out of the gutter!!
If it stayed on, it'd still require lots of strength to steady it. I wish it were the answer to multiple cleanings in spite of gutter covers.
This unit is not universal.You need to include a roll off Duck Tape to make it work on a blower I purchased at Lowes!
I had high hopes this would work out for me. I have a Husqvarna 560BTS. While the universal boot did fit, the plastic ratchet did not grip very well and you can't tighten it down enough to hold securely. I tried it anyway and the boot, even though I was holding it tightly only stayed on for around a minute. Put it back on and off it goes again. While this may work fine for other smaller leaf blowers it does not work for mine. I will be taking it back the next time I head over to Sam's Club.
