Wow. Best hate, easy install. Easy open, I can do it with one hand. My husband is a larger person and he can fit through the gate opening with ease. I bought this one because of the wide gate opening and it didn't disappoint. Widest gate I've seen on a small door frame. I have it fit in the smallest setting and the gate practically the width of the doorway. Awesome. Best $40 I've spent this year.
This walk through gate is exactly what I was looking for. Our cat and dog are not best friends. This gate is perfect. Keeps the dog out of the cats food and the litter pan. I can open very wide walk theough with one hand. The cat can jump ones the gate easily. Great value for the cost and delivery was quick. Hi am very pleased with this product!
I'm actually using this for my golden doodle puppy. I've been using it for approximately two weeks. I did not use the screws included to screw into the wall, but rather used the sticky pads and pressure mounts. So far it's holding up very well. Seems to be really strong and sturdy, even when he jumps on it. I actually bought 2 gates but had to return one because it was actually too big for the doorway to my bedroom. I live in an older house so the doorways are a little thin, but this gate worked perfect for my wider entryway that I'm currently using it for. Wish both had fit but that's at no fault of anybody except my house!
Would buy again. Big nice opening when gate is open. Easy to operate and quick install. Price was great too $34.99. Covers the staircase very well!
It creates a window frame that you must step through to move to the next room. Therefore, it was not appropriate for the head of the basement stairs where I planned to install it. I had to use another gate for the stairs that would swing entirely aside without leaving a ledge at the bottom.
I bought one gate initially and loved it so much I bought another....but the second gate has rust on it right out of the box!! But what I do love about them is ease of installation, and the straight lines, and the ease of opening and closing the gate! Perfect for my small 10 lb dog...he can't slip through rails! But I can come and go from room to room without dangerously stepping over typical tension gate for pets!

DONâT BUY IF YOU PLAN TO USE EXTENDERS. Been wrestling with getting the end caps out for half an hour, I swear they are glued in. Most likely will have to return it.
I wish I could recommend this but I cannot. I had installed this gate at the top of my stairs. My four year old son leaned against it and in a second the gate came off and my son went down the steps with the gate. This is truly not a safe product. I cannot even return it as it broke into a bunch of pieces in the crash.
I would not recommended this product to anybody. 1)it`s to short in length. I have to used a lot wood 2*4 to compensate that. 2) what is that crazy handle on top if you cannot use it to luck the gate?? This product is worthless and I regret buying it. zero star
