I have been needing a hook board for my keys. I seem to misplace some every single day I finally got one and the expresso color is perfect it goes with everything in my home. Installation was a breeze less then 5 minutes and it was up. I also use a drill.
I am reviewing the Chapter Espresso with Bronze Finish Hook Board. I received this item free in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I picked this item for review as I wanted hooks in my utility closet near my front door for umbrellas, sweaters, etc. My apartment is small, so extra space for things I might need as I leave I wanted near the door, but out of sight. I love this hook board. The color is pleasant, I was happy that it is so sturdy. The board is wood and the hooks are nice and solid with a coating over the metal the same color as the board. There are 3 double hooks, so for single items, there's room for 6 things. The screws that come with it match the board, so they are not at all unsightly. Nicely made, and would look lovely and warm in the open for all to see. If you want a nice sturdy place to hang your things, this is a very nice item.
We placed these hooks at children's level so that the young ones can hang their coats, etc. It was very easy to install and came with everything needed except a drill. They have the same color covers to put over the screws so you don't notice them. We don't have any worry about the product falling, even with the abuse it will likely get from kids use.
This is a nice and simple hookboard. There is not a lot of bells and whistles. That packaging was very clean. It was just the product, the hardware, and the cardboard backing. This is the first thing that I liked. Most packing has zip ties, tape, twisty ties and other things that make it hard to get your item out of the package. This product just had two plastic screws and nuts, that's it. Next, it was very easy to install. The hardware that is included is two screws, two wall anchors and two caps. There are two holes in the wood plank and that's it. Just align and screw in. Then there are two caps to put over the screws. This is a very nice hookboard. The coloring is very nice. The plank and hooks are painted black. I didn't see any drip marks or chips which is very nice. The wood they used for the plank seems like a steady wood, not a particle board and the hooks are very solid as well. It is all and all a very nice product and would recommend to anyone who wants a nice hook for their entryway.
I got the hook board in Espresso with the bronze finish. It was easy to mount to the door of our camper bathroom door with the screws sold with it. The bathroom of a camper is is a room where space is a premium and we needed somewhere for our towels but also didn't want it to look gaudy or take up too much space. This hook boards works perfectly for our needs and with the great construction of the board and I'm sure it will last for years to come.
The Chapter Espresso with Bronze Finish Hook Board is a very sturdy and compact hook board that can be used in a variety of situations. I am using mine to hang my dog leashes and accessories and it is the perfect size for that. This hook board came with sheetrock anchors and screws (2 sets actually), and was really easy to mount to the wall. I just marked where the screws needed to go and tapped in the anchors, then mounted the board and screwed it into the anchors. I like that it came with screw caps which are these little plastic plugs to hide the head of the screw. It makes everything match the rich espresso finish and gives a polished look to it. The hook board feels pretty sturdy and if mounted onto studs would be incredibly sturdy. I have it in sheetrock so I don't want to put an excessive amount of weight on it. It works great for what I need it to do. It would also make a great key rack or coat rack (though it's relatively compact in size). It would also make a great bag rack to store shopping bags. Overall this is a really nice hook board and would look great with practically any decor. It's highly functional and very well-made.
I received the Chapter Espresso with Bronze Finish Hook Board. I was a little confused by the description. I think of it as a wall mounted coat rack not, a hook board. Whatever name you prefer, this is very nice and useful for any home. The board measures 16 1/2 inches across with four, two prong hooks spaced evenly across the board. Traditional use would be to hang coats or jackets on it. However, it can be used for umbrellas, key rings, leashes and possibly small backpacks. The back of the package states that it holds 30 pounds evenly distributed when it is mounted to solid wood. This board comes with two screws and two anchors for dry wall mounting. There are two pre drilled holes in the board for easy mounting. There are also two black "plugs" to insert and cover the screw holes after mounting. This is a very nice and useful addition to any home.
I decided to get this hook board for my closet. We had a wire rack and I am not a fan of it. I like the look of this. The bronze and dark wood go nicely with my décor. It is very light weight wood though and it won't support much weight. The hooks are also small. Great for a key hook in an entry way or for light weight jackets. I am using it to put the next days clothing on in my closet.
I received the Mainstays, Hook Board, 16.5 inch Espresso Hookboard the other day from the Spark Reviewer program. I wanted to see if it would fit in my entry way (small) so instead of using the closet when you walk in company or house guests could also use the hook board when guests walk in. It came in Espresso so it matched my wall color and oak wood interior look. It was easy to mount as it came with mounting hardware so it can take a pretty good load. I put four coats on the four hooks and it held up fine. It looks good on the wall and when my friend came over he used it to hang his jacket on when he came in. So, it looks good and works good. Overall that is good with me.
Great Product! The hook board is very well manufactured it is made out of wood veneers so it can be mounted anywhere. I originally wanted to use it out by my pool for the kids to hand towels on it when they got out of the pool but it did not work very well there. The hooks were a little too close to use it for that purpose. The beach towels we use are rather thick and there was not enough space between the towels so they did not dry well. I decided instead to put it in my laundry room to hang keys and dog leashes on it. It worked well for there and I even got a baseball cap or two on it as well. I love the dark wood look along with the bronze hooks. The board came with all the hardware required for hanging. The instructions were very clear and it was very easy hang on the wall. I suggest that you find a stud for at least one of the screws if you plan on hanging towels or anything that is heavier than a few car keys and dog leashes. But all in all it is a very useful product,
