[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this as a baby gate to block off the stairs to the lower level. It comes with the proper hardware and my husband had no problem installing. Easy to open and lock. The gate is metal which seems more durable than some of the plastic gates on the market. So far we are really happy with this gate, no issues here

My little guy is on the taller side for his age, and this Stairway 42W Series is perfect for us and what we need it for! It was easy to setup and is sturdy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Summer by Ingenuity Stairway 42W Series gate is designed to fit openings 28" up to 42" side. While designed for use at the top of stairs, this can also be used in hallways and doorways. This system uses screws to secure the gate in place on both sides and has an easy to use guide to properly drill your holes in the correct spot the first time. This keeps our dog and daughter secure, so it is doing its job. The door does have an easy single handed operation which is a must for parents and/or pet owners. The only thing I do not like this gate is that when it is extended less than near full extension, it does not look visually appealing to me. This is easy to clean and wipe down.
