I'll take this over the name brand anyday. The consistency is thicker, there is more chicken in it, and it's a lot cheaper than the other brand. Definitely recommend!
Bought it on a whim and had it in the pantry for a month or so. After being emptied by 2 days of stomach virus/nausea I needed nutrition, rehydration, and appetite stimulation. It was like electing Ike after 2 decades of racist socialism; the perfect restorative!
I love this soup, to me it's just as good if not better than name brand, sometimes store brand canned soup is very watery but not this one. I like getting this soup and having it over white rice, very filling and tastes very good for a quick meal.
This is a very hearty soup with plenty of chunks of chicken, potatoes, and corn giving it a good slow-carb stick-to-your-ribs meal for me. It's even heartier with a few crumbled Great Value Buttery Rounds or the Multigrain crackers. The corn and the soup base have a hint of sweet and savory, so these slightly sweet crackers give it one more bump of carb energy, but I can slam this soup down on a 10-minute food break from gardening. Yes, I can make it from scratch, but I'm sometimes too tired to cook. You have to have a few fallback easy meals for lunch or a late supper. Easy-peasy! Soups on!
I had trouble getting my purchases on my payment choice. Other than that everything was good, especially the delivery driver, she was very nice and accommodating.
I do like the name brand better, but this is almost as good and its saving me money when i want something quick and easy to eat. The difference is not going to stop me from purchasing in the future
Well it is too salty and bland, I had to add loads of black pepper to give this soup any taste. Oddly this and the GV clam chowder had no milk or cream, just starch to thicken it. no wonder this soup is just meh. Maybe if I try it again, I would add 4 - 6 oz of milk too, that might cut down the high salt taste. Cheers all.
I really wanted to like this, but I didn't . Corn tasted old and tough. Tastes more like cream of chicken soup with some vegetables Bioengineered ingredients listed on the ingredient label . Won't buy again
genetic modified crap. tasted terrible as well I didn't realize it was jediatic modified until about halfway through it I decided to look at the can goes to show you should always read the ingredients. would never purchase this again
