I like the speed laces and the rugged build but comfortable fit. The zipper on the side is an added attraction and allows for an easy off and on. It was a breeze to order an it came within 4 days during Christmas time. I have suggested prosper to many of my friends.
I got these boots a few weeks ago for my job as a police officer. I have to say they are very soft and comfortable. They even came with a free set of extra insoles. I have been on my feet a lot and my feet have not hurt at all. I love that they are waterproof and the zippers are ultra smooth going up and down. Thank you Propper!
These Propper boots are really nice. I used to wear another brand X boot without side zippers and they were always a pain to put on and take off. These are all day, on the range, off the range, slogging in the rain comfortable boots. I have trudged through some pretty deep puddles and my feet stayed surprisingly dry. They look great and feel even better.
These boots have seen heavy, almost daily use in all outside conditions for almost 2 and a half years now and they have held up great. Theres some wear on the outside edges of the leather and some wear with a couple minor tears on one boots waterproof liner but the damage is almost entirely minor and cosmetic. The insoles it came with needed to be replaced around 2 months ago and were almost entirely worn down at that point. New ones fit in with no issues whatsoever. I have not experienced any issues with its waterproofing. I have worn these boots almost completely submerged in water, snow, mud, and anything else you could think of and have escaped with a dry foot and sock every time. All in all i have had a great experience with these boots. They still hold a great shine and look and function great. Looking over the other reviews though it might be possible that they have a bad problem with quality control on the boots they send out. I have not experienced any of the issues stated by others. I have included photos of the wear and tear im describing, as well as the look from the front as well. The laces it came with have also held up just fine. I did not clean them up or anything for these photos, although i do clean them occasionally or when they get covered in things like mud. I know, long review. In short, yes i recommend them. No issues, 9/10 boots.
This boots seem to be much better than the Danner Dromos boots I had and appear to be discontinued.
Although they fit well and true to size, they're stiff at the top, requiring some effort to tug on, defeating the convenience of a side-zip boot. Hoping that will get better as they break-in.
I got a pair of these boots about two months ago. I have loved them and worn them every day since, however, they are wearing out way faster than I would expect of boots made to withstand more than normal wear and tear since I haven't been doing much more than walking around in them. Although the waterproofing has held up, they are fraying at the seems and I'm not sure how much longer they're going to hold together. The Velcro has almost completely separated from the tabs at the top of the zippers. The right one also fits slightly differently than the left even though they're the same size. I thought it was something that would even out with time, but that doesn't seem to be happening and even though I thought these were the most comfortable boots in the world when I first got them, my right heel and Achilles tendon have started causing me pain only while walking in these boots without any previous injury or condition. It's a shame because I really did like these boots and wish I could say I would get another pair, but after this experience I don't think I will get Propper boots whenever i can afford boots again. I just hope these don't fall apart before then.
Three months ago I bought these for the beginning of hunting season. While they fit well and hold the ankle great...they are not waterproof. Ive tested it and a puddle 3 inches deep for more then a single step will cause wet feet. Also...they don't dry out well because they dont breath from what waterproofing their is. Doh.
I have 3 pairs of these boots, 2 are great, the third fell apart the first week. very disappointed.
The zipper is not long enough and the chinch point on the boot hurt my foot going on and off. Comfortable to wear but not getting in and out.
