Unlike other, similar products I've tried, the Hair Honey Serum does not weigh down my thin hair and it does a remarkable job at taming down hard to manage frizzy locks. Iwould absolutely buy the Garnier Hair Honey Serum and have already recommended it along with sharing some of my product with a couple of friends and handful of family members. I plan to continue using the serum, along with the other products in Garnier's Whole Blends Honey line, as part of my daily haircare routine. Thanks Garnier!!

If you look in my bathroom you will see everything from shampoo/conditioner to texture gel. I just love their products and they always give good results. Unfortunately after using this honey repairing serum, I haven't seen much difference. I have long thick hair to my lower back that's never been color treated of any kind but has seen many years of hot tools. I have lots of split end damage and I was really excited to see how well this product would help fix that. Unfortunately after 3 weeks of use 5 out of the 7 days in a week. I will say the product does leave my hair shiny and smooth which I've had a handful of people ask me what I've used to make it look that way. The product also smells amazing and will leave my hair smelling great. I like that it helps protect against heat which in my opinion I feel it does. My hair doesn't feel or look dry and burnt.

The first day I tried it I used 2 pumps and put it over all my hair, my hair was super soft but within a few hours it looked greasy and heavy. The next day I did wash my hair as normal (didn't apply this product) and my hair was super soft and shiny (no greasiness) I read the bottle and it says 1 pump at ends. So a few days later I tried again with just one pump. Same thing, it felt soft but looked greasy and heavy, but the next day after washing it was super soft and shiny again. Third time I washed my hair as normal but didn't use conditioner as I did the other times, hoping for an improvement, but sadly not. Each application was after washing and towel drying my hair, I never blow dried it, I let it air dry each time. Maybe washing and applying at night before bed and washing in the morning might be a good solution, or maybe it's just not for my hair type.

When I first pumped it out, I enjoyed the consistency. However, when I put it in my hair, the smell was overly sweet and a bit nauseating. I left it in, thinking it may go away and be worth it. I let my hair air dry and the curls did look nice. The smell did eventually go away too! By the end of the day, though, my curls were weighed down. I can usually not wash for 2 to 3 days, but the next day, my hair was markedly greasy. All in all, this is not a product for me.
