another good deal from wahl.
This is a well-engineered set of trimmers. I say this based on having used the predecessors for 7 years.
My husband loves this trimmer.
Price was right, does what I want it to do, excellent beard trimmer, Wahl customer service is great, had to call CS on how to change the trimmer heads, instructions were a bit vague, am happy so far.
This trimmer is really inexpensive but quite a good grooming tool. It holds a charge for a good amount of time which is nice. The attachments really work for just about all of my boyfriend's trimming needs.
I had the old generation from 5 years ago .. this clipper is quiet it trims very nicely and it holds a charge much longer ... great purchase you won't be disappointed!
Prepare to WAIT for a waranty repair. The trimmer was great until it just died. No problem, it has this great 5-year warranty, right? Nope. First it cost $7 to send it back to Wahl, and now they tell me it takes 6 to 8 weeks before I get it back.
Wanted to change the shaver head to a larger size, so I removed the small one, and took out the larger shaver head. Both parts (the one removed and the one to put in) fell apart immediately. Small parts loose on each head just fall off and are not connected in any way. Then there are no instructions on how to apply each head to the main razor unit. The units don't fit in any logical way, none of the parts that fell out have any visible way of reconnecting them. and the missing instructions are a huge liability. I'm returning it, cannot use it.
The clipper head rusted 3 weeks after purchase. I would not recommend this product.
i wanted to try something new since my old trimmer gave out, so i picked this lithium ion unit, had good factory warranty that's one of my main reasons why i purchase it, but it's a cheap plastic build, be prepared to be buying replacement blades because if it falls on you the plastic and spring will break, and it doesn't take beatings, so you should plan to baby it, it just comes apart with small impact, i'm moving on from this, hope my review save someone annoying blade fees. the warranty DOES NOT cover that either if your wondering, only the motor electronic inside the unit. buy something better.
