We can't believe how tasty and quick to prepare this is!! It's surprising what can come from a little seasoning packet that costs under a dollar. My family gobbled this up.
No longer carried at my regular grocery store, glad to have found it here!
I and my family like the spicy flavor. It is nicely priced and easy to prepare.
It is easy to make and my family loves to eat it. We just put it on top of white rice and they can't get enough of it!
Very good and tasty. my family loves it. but dont get hooked my wal mart just pulled it off the shelf the next time i went for it!!!!! put it back wal mart!
FYI, this is slightly spicy. I thought it was good although it didn't really taste like General Tso. Something was missing, maybe honey? Still really good, I added vegetables.
I work pretty hard to avoid cane sugar so when I started craving General Tso's chicken, I really didn't want the sugary take out kind. This Sunbird packet calls for a quarter cup of sugar, for which I subbed stevia extract and honey. I will say there's some kind of seasoning in this packet that I don't feel belongs in General Tso's but honestly, I didn't really mind it. I also added a lot of red chile flakes because this stuff is not hot imo. But it's very good and I'll be keeping a packet in the pantry. I should also note that the packet made enough sauce to coat a pound of chicken along with 4 cups of broccoli pretty generously.
The flavor is good. However, it doesn't say it on the packaging, but the sauce has a good bit of heat to it. If you or your family are sensitive to spicy food, don't buy this.
Honestly this was disgusting and does not come close to tasting like General Tso
It was the consistensy of gravy with random spices. Nothing like general tsos... it went straight in the garbage.
