I have 4 of these and the matching BIC Center Channel (rectangle) in my fairly large open concept living room with 18ft ceiling powered by a Sony STRDN1080 reciever and they absolutely sound amazing. The clarity and volume handling capability of these speakers is extremely impressive for the price. I had them installed when the house was built new in August 2018. The only issues I have had were the grilles are not magnetic and 2 of the 4 constantly fell off (surprisingly undamaged) so i put 2 small dabs of clear loctite on each grille before pressing them back on. Its been over 6 months and they have not fallen off again. The tweeters are aimable which is a must for the higher mount of the in wall speakers. BIC makes very good products (i have previously owned one of their F12 subs) at a crazy good price. The biggest issue is actually finding people that sell them that and their website appears to have been made when "AL Gore invented the internet". You can't go wrong with these speakers.
I am a big fan of BIC America speakers and outfitted my entire home theater with them. When it came time to add outdoor speakers on the patio I was pleased to find that BIC also made weather-resistant speakers. I needed a ceiling mount style, but I was hesitant, thinking that a 6.5" driver was not going to be enough. Actually, it's plenty. They sound great with lots of clarity and power and provide enough bass to be great background music outside. This was an excellent find with a big bang for the buck!
I bought these for our home theater last year. My husband was a little skeptical of them, since they didn't have the name Bose or Pioneer on them, I didn't want to break the bank though. Once they were in he became a huge fan! All my neighbor hate us because of the loud movies and music he runs through them! In short, don't be afraid and don't break the bank, these will do the job just fine! P.S.- Tell your neighbors sorry from me!
