I currently have 60,000 miles on my set of Toyo at3's. They still have quite a bit of life left in them! Would definitely recommend. Tread wear is even and ride quality is great. Very minimal road noise.
Replaced some 295/70/17 Maxxis Razors with these Toyos in a 35/12.50/17 and my truck is somewhat capable again. I've driven up dry rocks, wet rocks, mud, snow, slush and they're fantastic!
I bought a set of of 265/70r17 AT3's on my ram 1500. As advertised I found the wet traction to be nothing short of amazing which is one of the reasons i bought them. Dry traction was the same. I never had them in snow or any serious offroad conditions so I can't speak to it except some gravel roads on vacations in which they held traction well up some steep gravel hills for having a one legged dog. These tires were quite and had a comfortable ride. The down fall of these tires for me was the tread life. I had them now for just under 3 years and 40000 miles and down to the wear bars all on all four tires with regular tire rotations and now have to drive over cautiously for traction in wet conditions. They had a tread warranty of 60000 miles and sadly only received 2/3's of that. Other then the short life span I loved everything else about these tire.
Overall these tires are fine. The handling and ride comfort are on par to other tires I've had on my Sienna. Oddly enough, they are the loudest tires I've had on my van, which wouldn't bother me except that their primary marketing characteristic is that they are supposed to be a quiet tire. They are louder than the non-studded Blizzacks I have for winters. I don't think that it is tread noise, as far as I can tell. The best I can describe it is that they ping like a very hard basketball. If I didn't know better I would think they were overinflated. It actually has me looking forward to putting my winter tires back on for the quieter ride.
I have a 2013 Infiniti G37 IPL with 13200 mi. There tires will need to be replaced soon. They are also VERY noisy. I am a fanatic about keeping my tire pressure up to factory specs. They handle pretty good but the wear/noise is the overriding issue. I will not buy again.
As original equipment on my new 2023 Nissan Pathfinder SL and at 30,000 miles after normal highway driving and routine dealer maintenance dealer informed me that tread depth ( between 3-5/32nds) indicated I require new tires! I have driven SUVs for 30 years and using Goodyear, Yokohama, and other brands never required new tires before 50,000 miles!
I have had several sets of Goodyear tires. In fact, they were the only tires I wanted to buy. I bought a set of these tires in November 2023. They did great in the snow and highway. I now have 4 repairs on the tires from gravel roads. These tires can't handle the gravel. They get small cuts from rocks in the grooves. It's so sad. I would absolutely not recommend for Iowa gravel roads.
Have these tires and with 20k miles on them got a terrible wheel shaking had them rebalanced twice and with 1/2 the tread left Toyo will do nothing. It's definitely the tires because when I put the stock tires back on the shaking stops. I would never buy Toyo's again as they don't stand behind their product.
I have had two of your tires fail in a month and I when I called your corporate office to complain the women got nasty with me and accused me of being a liar. I will be pushing a boycott of all Toyo tires on Social Media and will be contacting Auto dealerships about this experience so they stop purchasing tires from your company. I will also be contacting the Department of Highway Safety and the California Office of Attorney General about your company selling defective unsafe tires.
I'm on my 2nd set of AT3s in 2 weeks on 2024 GMC 1500 AT4. These tires have been road force balanced and each tire required less than a 1/2 ounce of weight but still vibrate at 70mph or higher. 2 of the tires on this set had over 20lbs of road force on the machine. Just got back from a 8 hour road trip and these tires will be coming off the truck. It's bad when you buy a non aggressive AT tire and still won't ride smooth. I have had ridge grapplers and Toyo Mud terrains and they were night and day compared to these. Save your money and buy another tire!!!!
