The flowers I planted this year were very small but I fed them Miracle-Gro (religiously!) every weekend and they filled in perfectly. I actually entered my house in a local contest for The Most Improved Curb Appeal and I won! I have to give Miracle-Gro a lot of credit because all the colorful flowers made my yard look wonderful. I had a ton of wonderful tomatoes too. Thank you Miracle-Gro! It does everything it claims to do! (I was able to attach some pictures from about a month ago but when I tried to attach the more recent pictures of my yard and of my tomatoes, it said they were "not wide enough". The flowers are even bigger now and the roses a blooming like crazy!)
I use this food with a fertilizer injector as I have over 200 roses. It works just fine at accelerating new growth and producing bigger blooms weather permitting. When used properly it is an excellent product and I highly recommend it .I find it humorous that people use the product improperly and then complain about it and give negative reviews. It isn't particularly fair to do so. And no it has nothing to do with increasing soil odor at all lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I try miracle grow on my plants couldn't believe how big it grew ! The new sprouts were just shooting you like crazy. Every morning I would wake up a make a batch of plant food , it's very easy comes with a measuring scoop you just mix it with the right amount of water and then watch them grow!!!
I have been using Miracle Gro so long...I can't remember when I first started. The results from this product have been phenomenal since day one. I recommend Miracle Gro to EVERYONE I know...and everyone I don't know. Truly a miracle. My example below. My secret...shush don't tell: I use 1/4 tsp. in a gallon bucket every day.
I use Miracle-Gro on my garden, trees and lawn. The results have always been excellent! Probably the only reason MG gets a bad rap, is because many people don't like/trust big companies. I used the product for 40 years and never been able to tell any negative results in the biology of the soil. I'll keep on using it. The cost is reasonable, it's effective, and easy to apply.
Is it likely I burned the roots (and killed the foilage) of a small, 1/4” caliper dogwood tree by applying an undiluted pound of Miracle Gro fertilizer in roughly a two square area around the tree I planted in mid spring? I did water the substance in. That's exactly what I did, contrary to label instructions to significantly dilute Miracle Gro before applying. Now I'm trying to determine whether a neighbor's poisoned my tree or whether I unwittingly did it myself.
I have bought multiple bags of the moisture control potting mix and the citrus potting mix and am having trouble with both. Green fungus on top of soil and gnats in the dirt. I have been using miracle grow for years and the last couple of years there have been multiple issues. Dirt turning rock hard, green or white fungus or mold on top of soil and the gnats, at least 2 different types of gnats. I'm not sure what is going on with the potting mixes but I pay good money for this stuff and as I said earlier I've used it for years. At first I thought it was just a bad bag but after purchasing multiple bags and to have these problems with over half of the bags I'm getting frustrated. I've purchased at least 15 bags this year including the citrus mix (at least 4 bags) and 1 bag of orchid mix which right after I planted my orchids in the mix 1 got mealy bugs on it. My husband bought me a Meyer lemon tree and since I planted it in the citrus potting mix I've been fighting gnats that stay in the soil. I'm afraid that I'm going to loose my lemon and the lime tree that I've had for a year because of the gnats. The leaves are falling off of them now and it's my understanding that the gnat larvae will eat the roots and kill the tree. I've tried multiple different things to get rid of these gnats, including insecticidal soap, neem oil, a peroxide and water mix, to no avail. I'm going to repot these trees in different soil and see if I can save them, hopefully. Needless to say but I am truly disappointed with the different miracle grow potting mixes that I've wasted my money on this year.
I bought Miracle Grow Organic Choice Moisture Control Potting Mix and potted up some bulbs. There was a white mold on about half the pots which I picked off and they seem to be OK now. A week later I go back to the bag and the mix is totally covered in white mold. The bag was in my garage, not in the sun and at about 50 degrees temp. Not acceptable!
I have used miracle grow for many years. This last year I have bought multiple bags, and it's horrible! The bags are infested with millions of plant gnats and larvae. I have lost hundreds of dollars worth of plants. Will never buy again!!
