In my opinion these are the best tasting cheese puffs I have found. They taste like the old Planter's Cheese Ball snacks they used to have, so when you add great taste and a low cost you have one tasty value.
I have a heart problems, Hypertension. I wish there was some Potassium added to snacks. Like in the Great Value Soups that are Heart healthy
contrary to what the packaging might lead you to believe, the actual product does not resemble a flock of migrating birds. other than that, not bad.
i used to purchase these all the time, personally i LOVE the generic brand of cheesy poofs, not the Cheetos brand. These used to be my favorites however i hadn't bought them in a long time. i decided to get them again last time i was at the store and was VERY disappointed. They seemed stale straight from the unopened bag, and instead of being cheesy and delicious they just tasted corn-y.... hardly any cheese flavor at all. what i once considered a great product disappointed me this time!
I usually love to eat generic brand products, but I was very disappointed in the taste of the Cheetos. I originally thought they were stale, but after verifying the expiration date, confirmed it was just some bad tasting cheese puffs.
I frequently purchased GV brands and have been satisfied with the purchases. Since the GV brand Cheese Puffs has gone gluten free it is actually hard to swallow. Just disappointed with a product I had enjoyed has gone down hill and come to this. I have work for a couple of companies that supply Walmart and I know what the expectations are of Walmart. I am surprised this product was approved.
I love cheese puffs, Cheetos and Jax are my favorites. I decided to try the Great Value brand since their potato chips are pretty decent. These were horrible, they have an acrid flavor that permeates your mouth and is difficult to get rid of. They're also extremely salty - I'm not even going to waste my time with the rest of the bag, it's going in the trash. I'm actually a fan of most of the GV products, but this one is a huge miss, they need to go back to the drawing board.
Too salty not near as good as named brand. Never buy great value chips again.
I just opened a new bag of these tonight to give to my Cheetoh-loving kids. Neither of them liked them at all. I was surprised, so I tried one for myself. They are, indeed, pretty nasty. They appear to have plenty of cheese powder on them, but it's almost tasteless. The cheese flavor that does come through is all wrong. I've purchased Cheetoh brand, Wise Cheese Doodles and other store brands and the GV brand doesn't even come close to tasting like the same type of product. I tried to eat a few more, but in the end, the entire bag went in the trash. I'm usually a fan of most GV brand products, but this one is definitely not worth saving 50 cents on!
I love cheese puffs, but this tasted like burnt wood chips. What a waste, I bought this to save money, and ended up wasting it. Would not buy this again, would pay double for any other brand next time!
