the Inspirion 2320 is everthing I expected from a Dell computer. I was not sure that I need a 23" computer screen but I am totally happy with it. I am using both touch screen and mouse. It was very easy to setup and loaded software was excellent. At this point I do not have any Cons for this machine.
I'm a senior programmer. I spend many many hours in front of a computer. Often times, I need to do programming in Linux. I hate developing and debugging code in virtual machines. I got the Core i7 8GB RAM Inspiron One 2330. It's my first All-in-One from Dell Online. What I liked: * It works VERY WELL with Ubuntu 12.04.1 64-bit Linux (webcam, wireless NIC, wireless keyboard and mouse, keyboard sleep) * All-in-One form factor is very clean * All-in-One form factor makes moving the machine really easy. * Love the VGA-input, VESA mounting Feedback: * Display is certainly adequate, given the price point. I would have liked (and paid) to have an IPS display option in the 23" form factor. I know the XPS models have better displays, but there were no XPS All-in-One 23" models. Some kudos goes to the engineers who designed the power supply into the unit, not relying on those huge power bricks. Well done guys!
This is the most I have ever spent on a desk top computer. I am glad I did. Yes, the touch screen does take some getting use too, but it is easy and for sure quick. The Inspiron One 2330 has more capabilities then I could imagine. Also the add on warranty I thought was priced well and the basic package gave me 3 more years of bumper to bumper care. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. Thank you Dell.
I really needed a new computer to replace my HP desktop, so I found the Dell Inspiron One 23 AIO and I really liked it. This computer is FAST! With an Intel Core i5 onboard it performs like a speed demon. I get all my tasks done even with 6 or 7 programs running at the same time (Graphic Design related). I like the touchscreen on the 23" monitor. The display is crystal clear. Pros: Fast, big display, touchscreen, lots of memory, AIO design. Cons: Number Keypad doesn't have a number lock button, Windows 8 UI (I'll get used to it however) Overall this is a really nice computer to have. I highly recommend this computer to anyone who wants a high end machine.
Using a 9-year old Dell at home and a 5-year+ old Dell at work made me quite ready to update computers. Needless to say there was no question that Dell was the one. Windows 8 is certainly a reality check with new technology, and none too soon! It's awesome, though has a learning curve. The speed of the new computer is refreshing to say the least! The Dell all-in-one is modern, takes up so much less space and is a pleasure to "play" with. I was able to order exactly what I needed with the build-your-own options. You can get as little or as much as you want for your computer to operate for your needs and budget. I couldn't even find this computer available at the local "box computer" store. I really wanted the fastest and newest options but in all reality, I really don't need it and the options I chose with this computer are more than sufficient to suit at-home needs and gaming. It's a good value and an excellent product in every way. Set up was a snap and interfaced with my existing printer, cable modem & wireless router in a matter of seconds. No issues whatsoever. I love the wireless keyboard and mouse and it's quite sufficient for everyday use. The only reason I gave Features a 4 rather than a 5 is that the touch screen is not always immediately responsive, takes a little tapping around sometimes to get it's attention. I ordered extra speakers to go with this because it said it didn't come with speakers. There are "built-in" speakers but probably not sufficient if you plan on watching movies and listening to music online. Haven't really tested those.
I'm an IT guy so experienced with evaluating computers for a large enterprise. I have had this PC for three months and I could not be happier with my choice. The touch screen works great although twice I have experienced the touch screen to stop functioning. A reboot and all was good. Both occasions occurred within the first two weeks of owning. No problems since. It came with Windows 8 Home and upgraded to Windows 8 Pro. No problems with the upgrade. This is a fairly heavy PC and have it mounted on the wall in my kitchen with a cantilever wall mount. One of two complaints I have with this is when not using the Dell stand. Using any other mount requires the mount cover to be removed and does not look as clean and professional without the cover. My second complaint is the PC speakers. Definitely do not like playing music through them so will hide a bluetooth speaker in the kitchen.
I am replacing another Dell computer that was about 4 or 5 years old. I got the i3, 6gb, 1T computer. So far, very happy with it. Its really fast compared to what I had, and the screen is incredible. I had the older monitor, so this was a great upgrade. My only problem so far, I can't get my Dell printer to work with it. I may have to call in and find out what is going on. I'm sure thats an easy fix. Love the wireless mouse and keyboard!
I primarily use this system to develop software using visual studio 2012. Pros Nice slim design takes up minimal space i7 Processor handles everything i throw at it extremely quiet Cons The display is very disappointing. It pixelates when watching video or when moving the mouse or screen quickly. One of the main reasons I bought this was for the 1080p HD display. I would think twice before purchasing if you want a crisp, clean picture.
This computer in the beginning worked very good. After the first 9 months it gave me nothing but problems. It randomly shuts down, the screen goes black or freezes. Its to the point, I cant even handle my online classes or work from my computer. This is my 3rd computer from Dell over the past 9-10 years. As of today, I'm no longer a Dell customer.. If you choose to purchase the Inspiron 2305, all I can say is GOOD LUCK !!!
I bought this computer for my son ( 49 year old not a child) he has had it for 3 weeks and called to say he spent 2 hours on the phone trying to figure what happened to his computer when it made a noise. So they say the mother board blew up. This is a brand new computer. They are sending a tech out to replace the mother board in 2 to 3 days. I think they should replace it not fix it. This is a brand new computer. I've had a least 6 dell computers. Never had this kind of problem
