Honestly, I use both the concealer and the foundation, and they are so good that I can't tell a difference between them and brands like Nars that I formerly used, which were chock full of chemicals. Thank you 100% Pure for making products that respect the people who use them.
This concealer is exactly what I was looking for! It is a great consistency, very creamy and easy to apply. Doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or cakey. I have never found a concealer that I like as much as this one! It covers blemishes and dark circles easily and effective. I am a red head with very fair skin and this is the perfect color. I highly recommend it!
I have used 100% pure makeup for years. I had been using the pressed powder foundation, and bought the cream foundation accidentally. I absolutely LOVE it! With a sponge applicator it goes on smooth and provides a flawless finish and lasts all day. I've always had problem skin, but with the cream foundation my skin looks great!
For years I've had trouble finding a foundation pale enough for my skin. I've also struggled with foundations that break out or dry my skin too. The 100% Pure Alpine Rose has definitely become my favorite foundation. My skin didn't break out at all, it overall worked with my dry skin, and it matched my natural coloring wonderfully. I plan to get this again in the future!
I am so VERY happy with this foundation! It is easy to use, I use an essential oil mixed with a lotion and then apply the foundation. The color is perfect and it is so easy to wear just as is, no powder or cheek color. It goes on very smoothly and is easy to blend over the entire face. I just use a little of the island eye shadow(s) with it and a lip butter or balm. And it FEELS so good, like peace and calm or something. I just can't say enough nice about it!
The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because it transfers to anything that touches it, as I have found to be the case with all organic foundations. You have to apply powder on top to keep it from wiping off on your hands or shirt, or your grandchildren's cheeks! I do not like powder as it settles in the wrinkles on my skin. But otherwise the foundation is so emollient and smooth, and makes this 59 year old skin feel fabulous!
Initially this foundation seemed too hard to apply, literally, but I think it just needed warmed up, because rubbing it with my finger a bit helped. It's sufficiently good--I wouldn't say amazing, but still nice, and I'm so glad to have found the right shade of chemical-free foundation. Also, contrary to how the pictures may appear, this is currently the lightest shade offered in the cream foundation (I ordered a too-dark shade based on incorrect pictures).
I like this product. It is my first cream foundation. Have always used liquid and a brush. I don't think it covers my brown "age" spots as well as my former product (Clinique), but I am now applying one layer, letting it dry, then another layer. Am using the pink egg-shaped sponge and dampening it first. Getting used to that as well. I do have to follow up with my old foundation brush instead of the sponge to add a little more product to my brown-ish areas. Glad to be using something safe at my age, 65 years young. I will keep buying this product.
Very nice, moderate coverage with a semi-matte, moderate to full coverage depending on application. Can be slightly greasy after awhile and transfer if not set with a setting powder or primer used underneath. I find the green tea oil-free moisturizer to be great underneath this to help counteract oiliness. Gives a long-lasting finish without looking dry. Very convenient being that it is in the compact.
I am 50 years old and have little lines and wrinkles here and there on my face. The cream foundation just sunk into the lines making them look so much worse. It was a little drying too. Maybe I'll try the water based foundation...was looking for something with light coverage and no SPF. Will be sending cream foundation back.
