The best i have had in a cookie ,and they are easy to make
Love theses morsels! Never ever turned my dough orange. For all the ones that complained? You must not know what you are doing. Ive used them for every Christmas! Dont let the Debbie Downers sway you in the wrong direction. But, buy buy, they are great!!
I bought these to make holiday chocolate chip cookies but ended up snacking on them :-). I wish they were available year round.
I was disappointed! I used them to make Holiday Snowball cookies... when I took them out of the oven the red had turned to an orange color and bled thru out the cookie... did not a very pretty cookie! I wish the swirl chips were available!
The dye in the red morsels made orange spots on the cookies. They were supposed to be for Christmas cookie trays but they look unappetizing. Do not purchase these!
I wish I had purchased. They ruined my new cookie sheet. They left orangish yellow spots on my pan and I can not get the spots off. Errrr!
The colored morsels had such an artificial flavor to them, it almost tasted like there was vinegar in the finished cookies. Had to toss entire batch, even my 4 year old thought they tasted weird. Regular toll house chips are fine, but steer clear of the Red & Green morsels!
I would like to give zero stars. I have made Cowboy Cookies since I was a little girl. Have always used Nestle chocolate chips. These looked pretty and I thought I would try them to carry to an event. I took them without tasting first. When I found out how bad the non-chocolate chips tasted, I just hoped no one would try them. Few did, thank goodness. Never again.
My family and I did not like these, at all. I am extremely disappointed as I was going to give these cookies as a gift, but the taste( or lack thereof) of the green and red morsels ruined them. I had a few other people taste them to make sure it wasn't just me. The red also faded to an orange like color. Just a waste of time. If I had more energy, I would make a new batch with the regular chocolate morsels, but I don't.
I used them in a chocolate chip cookie recipe . The taste was very chemical . I will never purchase them again !
