Boots fit true to size and kept my son's feet warm while sledding. They aren't as bulky and are a bit shorter than the Columbia boots I've purchased for him in the past and he likes that now that he's 10. His street size is 5.5/6 and I purchased a 6 and they fit well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a pair of Rope Tow water boots for my sons 12 and 9 I love this boots I bought them Nike or Timber Land boots every year since they were 3 and they don't compare to these boots from Columbia the Columbia boots are stylish and functional they keep my sons feet warm and dry and they say they are the most comfortable winter boots they ever had!!!!! Iam so glad that I bought them I recommend them to all my family and friends. I will only buy Columbia winter boots from this point on. Iam gonna buy them winter coats because Iam so impressed with the quality of there products!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for snow boots for my son. I Have had a couple of them not with the Columbia brand and they all failed. My sons sock will still managed to get wet. It was the fabric and the top of the shoe that always allowed ice to go in. So I went ahead and bought these snow boots and so far it's been great. My son can play all day in the snow. He loves the fit and keeps his feet extremely warm. He can move around the snow perfectly find even when he goes deep in the snow. The way the show is design with the high ankle raise and it's tight shoe string it helps tighten around the ankle so no snow/ice can come in. The grip on the show helps when stepping on ice and you won't slip and fall. Overall great shoe!

I bought these for my son to wear to school, he needs something heavy duty since we walk. He loves these boots, they are comfy, warm and dry and very easy to get on. My only complaint is that it's very hard to tell the left boot from the right. They do run small, I bought a size 1 and he normally wears a 13.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quality is excellent, my only issue is that although the laces are adjustable, my son still struggled to get them on. Hopefully they loosen up after a few wears. Other than that, they're resistant and super warm. Perfect for snowy days in Chicago.

With all my strength I could hardly pry them open wide enough for my son's foot to begin to enter… we got to his ankle and it was no use. I have never ever seen boots made like this. My son is approaching 3.5 size but for lined crocs or boots that we need may wear thicker socks with, we size up to 4 and things are usually fine. So now I have to wait for tracking to update to confirm it is delivered. Then request return. I fear I'll be paying for return and I'm still out boots. So disappointed from Columbia. They are the only boots I wear and only ones I buy for my family or gift or recommend. This was wild and idk how they ever got past inspection I'm guessing he'd need a size 7-8 to get his foot inside the boot. Maybe. I'm not sure they were sooooo stiff. But then they'd be too big/long inside. Sad face.
