I love this travel bag for carry on luggage as well as car travel. I have several sets now in coordinating colors (e.g., a solid and coordinating print). My basic set is the weekender and the iconic Vera tote. I recently added the matching compact weekender. The bags have an excellent arrangement of compartments and provide a lightweight alternative to the bulky rolling luggage that airlines now want you to check.
This weekender was exactly what I was looking for. It's very roomy inside and now, along with this and my carry on; no more checked bags. The color is perfect, it actually the carry on hard luggage I already have. Having it personalized added that special touch.
I used this carry on for weekend trip- flew -fit perfectly on suitcase! Lots of pockets for chargers ect! People stopped me in airport and complimented me on it!
I love this bag! The size is perfect and the strap is comfortable. I got the burgundy color with an ivory monogram and it looks so nice! I'll use this every chance I get.
I haven't actually used it yet, but it is very cute and seems to be the perfect size to get away for the weekend. I love the outside pocket for your water bottle, but I would like it better if the inside pockets were a more solid fabric instead of mesh.
Im a cruise ship worker and travel lots. It was time for a new carry on bag. It's carry on compliant and beautiful and has a great loop to put it on your suitcase handle.
Beautiful bag as only Vera Bradley does. Very large bag, nice features, and the fabric and color are perfect to compliment most attire. I'm using it to compliment my other matching bag, the Vera Tote as weekend luggage.
I love the outside look of the sewing of the fabric. I would prefer the inside pockets of the old bags being made out of material versus the mesh pockets.
I believe this will fit under the seat without trouble; my soft leather bags get marked up in an undesirable way. Not sure I will keep this bag. The silver zipper, on the smaller front pocket, operates very poorly: unlike the matching zippers - and this zipper is likely to be used most often while travelling. Why not use silver zippers of the same quality for the travel pocket? Also, this bag was made in Myanmar, where genocide is occurring - hard to feel okay about that.
I often use this bag for overnight trips. Love the additional pockets and shoulder BUT very disappointed that the solid bottom portion is no longer inside the bag. As a result it does not hold its shape as well and makes it a little cumbersome to carry.
