Perfect size! I tend to prefer a backpack to a handbag for everyday use, and this one is perfect. It's not too big to look like your off on a trip, yet not too small to look like your wearing your child's backpack. And - the material and design function is great!
This bag is amazingly versatile. Though I've mainly been using it as a replacement for my purse, this bag also makes a wonderful mini gym bag and daytime travel pack. While the design is very simple, it is incredibly well made with sturdy zippers and nice fabric that is easy to wipe should you get anything on it. I love that it has a pocket on the side that fits a water bottle. It also has a nice amount of pockets for keeping things organized. The only thing I really didn't care for was the interior fabric design. It appeals to a more mature taste, but is not a deal breaker for me. The straps are comfortable without being bulky. The Vera Bradley Iconic Small Backpack in Raspberry Medallion is so colorful! Vibrant, eye catching and full of color! For a small backpack it is designed with many pockets and pouches. No lack of storage with this small version. It is great for on the go. The gym, work, errands, travel, so many great uses. The quilted material is thick, lightweight as well as water repellant. The adjustable straps are very comfortable. They don't dig into your shoulders or leave strap marks. The zippers are strong, open and close easily. They don't appear that they will get stuck or lock up on you. I like it as a purse as well as a backpack. I can fit all I need, just grab and go in very colorful style full of medallions. I shop Vera Bradley often but this was my first experience with the Iconic Small backpack. I'd strongly recommend to anyone. Superior quality designer backpack. The backpack was everything I hoped for and more. I love the colorful design and bright colors. The straps are very sturdy for heavy books, the zippers are well made, and the fabric is lightweight. It's a small bag with enough compartments for organization. It has several small areas for holding small items like pens, charger or chrome book. I consider it to be functional and attractive. This is a very cute backpack. It's the perfect hiking backpack and I was surprised by the number of pockets that were in it. There are side pockets that are perfect for a slim water bottle as well as a front zippered compartment and an open back pocket. The inside has one large zippered pocket and open smaller compartments so there is plenty of room in here to organize all your belongings. The material is the non-fabric kind that can be easily wiped clean so it makes cleaning it easy and simple. My favorite part is the color and pattern and I love how unique it is and stands apart from other backpacks. The inside is a different smaller floral pattern and I absolutely love it. I used this yesterday for our day at the Farmers Market, the greenhouse and the Corn Maze. The size was perfect for all we needed. It was stuffed and I could still carry 2 water bottles. It was easy to put on and take off. It never felt heavy. I had to place it on the ground at one point and it wiped clean with just my hand. It got damp and dried like new. I love this bag more every time I carry it.
This bag may be described as small, but it's definitely not lacking storage pockets! This Vera Bradley Iconic Small Backpack has more pockets and storage than most regular sized bags and backpacks! I'm very pleased! The Raspberry Medallion print is gorgeous and looks amazing with the contrasting liner print. Everything about this bag is well made and every little detail definitely goes noticed, from the Vera Bradley logo tag sewn on the front, the sewn-in-quilting, and even the ribbon pulls on the zippers.
