Great fit and wonderful trail shoe. Our first trip out after purchasing these shoes was to the Guilford-Macintosh Trail (NC). These shoes held up to the rocky climbs and slippery mud path. No blisters or sore feet afterwards. A great purchase! I am looking forward to many more hikes in these shoes very soon!
I have worn the Merrell Moab for years, my last pair was over 7 years old and way gone. There is no finer shoe for life. I wear different version of the shoe for different reason. I have the full leather as my trail shoes. The Ventilator is my favorite work shoe. (I got 3 pair this time. Thank you Merrell.
I spend a lot of time hiking up and wet rocks here in Maine. Merrill's make me feel confident and adventurous.
I wear these for 8 hour shifts in a membership warehouse club. Of all 20 pairs of shoes I've tried, my Merrells are by far the most comfortable, so I grabbed another pair. I've owned Merrells for many years.
Comfortable and ventilated, hiked the complete AT with them and parts of Florida Trail. Hiking or not this is what I wear
Just back from some very challenging hikes in Utah and Colorado. My husband and I were both wearing new Moab boots. These boots are terrific. They gripped sliprock like we had super powers and our mantra became “trust your boots” when we were on steep, dicey spots. From comfort to style to safety we highly recommend these awesome boots. Thanks Merrill for a great product!
I have been wearing moab shoes for years now. Ive had many many pairs. They fit well, and they tend to last for a long time. I motorcycle, bicycle, hike, walk the dog, and offroad in them, wear them to work, apart from house slippers or boots for mud, they are my primary shoe. Ive had some where the rubber became smooth on the bottom. Others where the toe box unglued from the rest of the shoe or had rips in the sides develop. One pair failed in a particularly annoying way and I warrantied the shoe wity Merrel and they replaced the shoes no questions asked. Shoes are wear items, they dont last forever, and my experience shows me that as long as you dont have a physical problem they just keep going. My #1 biggest complaint is they just get smelly/fungusy and there doesn't really exist any product to fix that. I usually change my insoles when this starts to happen and that buys me another few months of toleration, but it isn't fool proof.
Used my new Moab 2 Ventilators for hiking the trails in Sedona, Arizona on the Red Rocks! Made the climb up on the trails easy to grip and cool ventilation on my feet!
I never owned a pair of Merrell's until these. And I absolutely love my Moab 2 Vent shoes! I wear a size 14 and these fit super comfortable as I play disc golf with them. Great grip, comfort and arch support! Big thumbs up :-)
Seems like a decent shoe but the size was comically large. I bought a size 13 (box and shoes were labeled 13) but the shoes that came were at least an inch too big. I gave them to my brother who wears and 15-16 and he said they fit great… trash quality control.
