This product did great for my hair. I have long hair (down to my waist) and stubborn grays. Color lasted me for nearly 2 months. I recommend leaving in 5 to 10 minutes longer than suggested though.
It's good product and doesn't have damaging effects from ammonia. Of course it lasts depending on how much your hair grows and how much you wash it.
Worked surprisingly well on bleached hair I didn't want to damage any further with permanent dye. Only a couple washes in but no fade yet, colour looks better and ‘warmer' than I imagined.
Product was very easy to use, no ammonia, smells wonderful, completely covered grays, color is beautiful, makes your hair shiny and glossy, colored over 2 weeks ago and color is still vibrant, not washed out looking and no gray showing through, love this will definetely buy this product again.
I was pleasantly surprised by this dye! I got 2 boxes to be sure, but 1 was more than enough. It made my hair feel AMAZING (this never happens when I dye it) and was really easy to use. It hasn't fully dried yet so I can't judge the color... but the dying experience was just so great! *color I used was the 4BR*
this product/color is beautiful.better than any ive had in salons over past 10 years. did not cause allergic reaction with oozing itching scalp like most ive tried-think its because its ammonia free.leaves hair soft, full of body and the chocolate color is amazing. got more compliments on this color than any ive worn. no brassy tones. just gorgeous brunette color. would definetely reccomend!!
Very happy with the color on this product. Washes out in 28 shampoos. Great at covering greys, works better than root touch up. Blends to your color and adds shine. DO get 2 boxes if you have long or thick hair, even though the bottle is large-it only was enough for crown area of hair.
is great product , it has no amonia so I hope it wont damage my hair as much I believe dark brown has better coverage for grey hair
I have thick, color-treated (dark brown) Asian hair that reaches midway down my back. I've been using permanent hair dyes, but I didn't like the line of demarcation it left in my hair when my roots would grow out; semi-permanent dyes avoid this. NOTE: This is a semi-permanent dye, it WILL NOT lighten your hair color or cover roots. The box said that dark brown or medium brown hair color works best for this color. PROS: - smells great - a lot of product - beautiful color - amazing conditioner (it seriously leaves your hair silky smooth -- even the most driest/damaged hair). CONS: - takes a while to wash out (after 15min there was still dye left in my hair) - uneven color (even though my head was completely saturated in dye, some parts of my hair didn't take in the dye. As a result, the color is not as noticeable as I would like.)
This was my first time ever using hair color. I know everybody's hair is different, but this made my hair have a brassy blond/red overtone to it. And by the way-it does not cover the gray, only tones it down a little. Even if you leave it on the extra 15 minutes that they suggest to cover the gray, it still is rather obvious. And only 10 percent of my hair is gray, so that should not be that way. The conditioner that comes with it is great though and makes it almost worth the price of the whole thing.
