I compared the two brands and the Equate brand is just as good as Vital Proteins. I look for grass fed, hydrolized collagen peptides and this fills the bill. No need to pay more. I dont know exactly how much collagen helps skin, nails, joints etc but I do think it has helped me to some degree.
The Equate brand collogen peptide is a little less expensive than the name brand and just as good. I am 73, and my nutritionist recommended this. It dissolves completely in coffee and is tasteless. I have it every morning.
