Arrived earlier than expected. I researched ratings on this dehumidifier before purchasing. Easy to set up (we used our own heavy-duty hose for continuous draining). Well packaged. Large handle on top is helpful. Controls are easy to understand. The unit brought humidity in the basement from 70 down to 49 in 48 hours. Our basement feels normal again--a noticeable difference. The noise level is about the same as our previous unit, so about average.
It lowered the humidity in my basement pretty quickly. Obviously well built. Fairly quiet even at high speed. Decent enough price. Fast delivery.
this is a good little dehumidifier. the drain line direct to sump pump is an awesome feature. i have a very damp basement and i run this continuously and it keeps my basement dry. i recommend this. i would buy again.
Dehumidifier arrived a day earlier than expected. It is quiet and quickly reduced the humility in my 1300 sq ft home.
Dehumidifier is quiet and works very well dropping our basement from 70% humidity to 45% overnight on the lowest setting.
I am really impressed with this dehumidifier. This handles a 28 x 60‘ basement with 8 foot ceilings just fine. The empty bucket has a built-in handle which is a nice feature. It pulls close to a gallon of water out of the air in approximately five hours. Easy to empty and easy to set. I found several dehumidifiers, and I've got to say this is the best I've ever owned
I live in the Deep South so it's pretty humid here! I love this machine, on really humid days (rainy) and sometimes I may empty up to 4 times in a day which is 8 gallons of water comes out of part of my house a day! I have another unit running in another part of my home! After this unit run continuously all day and night the motor starts a wierd noise.
Although the unit runs and dehumidifies as advertised, due to a design issue, it's very loud. The design issue is the use of very thin wall plastic for the housing. What this leads to during normal operation is a resonance that comes and goes and makes the unit at least twice as loud as it is when the resonance is present. I solved the issue by wrapping a ratchet strap around the unit and tightening it until the resonance stopped. I will be inquiring as to whether or not the warranty covers this issue.
It did not come with all its contents. The sleep function, timer and day/night never worked. It operates either on or off, it does not stop when at desired humidity. Must manually shut on and off. Also it is electricity hog! My power bill doubled over the summer compared to last summer when not operating the dehumidifier. Doubled. In addition it's super loud. I will be looking for a new brand for this summer.
We have a couple of dehumidifiers from other brands (GE, Toshiba). This product is significantly louder than either of those units in terms of overall dB level, and it failed to meaningfully dehumidify the surrounding space. Definitely not a great combination.
