Fabulously comfortable for winter walking! Well constructed and they give support in all the right places.
I wore these for my first time ever hiking! They were comfortable with great arch support and very sturdy for rocky terrain. After awhile, I didn't notice I was wearing them. In other words, I had no problems whatsoever with them.
I wore my Alverstone's to the grocery store! I Love Them! They feel as if they are already broken in, like I am walking on air! I Love the suction cups on the sole. They make me feel like they will take me where I need to go. I think these would make good running shoes also. They are Fabulous!
I love these very light weight comfortable shoes! I get so many compliments when I wear them.
Excellent, as usual. They fit comfortably, they look good & they last for years!
Comfortable. Supportive. Perfect for all the terrain walking and town walking I do, and I never have to change my shoes! Live in an RV full time so space is tight -- I own these and two other pairs of shoes. They are the ones I put on every day.
I like this shoe OK. I've had about 8 Moab Ventolators and have loved each of them. I didn't really like the colors of the MV line this year so I went with this Alversone, online, no trying on. It is not as cushion-y and cozy as MV but they are firm and supportive, lightweight. Overall OK but not as loveable as my Moab Ventolators have been, sorry.
I like these shoes for everyday. I have a narrow foot so having laces let's me control how wide the show fits. I got these for n a size 8.5 to allow for thick socks during winter.
So far so good. I purchased a pair of these a year ago and they squeaked, thankfully an online shoe company took them back. I reordered them this year in gray (storm) and no squeaking. They were a bit rigid to begin with so I am breaking them in slowly just doing walks less than 2 miles. I like the gray color but thought that with the light aqua blue as shoe accents they should've had the same color laces instead of gray. I ordered a Siren Sport 3 earlier hoping it would be the great shoe it was in the past but there was a sizing issue, the 8, which is my normal Merrell size was too small and the 8.5 was too big - how can that be? So returned both sizes sadly and bought these. I use my shoes for walking dogs and light hiking. I live in the desert so a lightweight hiker is a must and I always feel more stable on my feet with a vibram sole.
run small. I alwasy buy Merrel size 8.5. Never had a problem, but this one is too small. I had to return.
