Received this camera as a wedding gift last month. It has a lot of features for both the hobbyist and the professional who really knows what they are doing. My dad and sister are professional photojournalists, and they were impressed by the features and high resolution available at this price. My advice would be to take one or two classes at a camera shop or rec center, or get some good books/magazines on digital photography so you can really get the most out of the features. The automatic settings work just great for point-and-shoot, but you can get fabulous and much more creative results if you're willing to invest a little time in education.
I loooooove this camera!! I got it at OfficeMax for the black friday sale price which was $129.99. I got the AWSOME black color and I love it! I takes amazing pictures and it's easy to use. I love all the little things you can do with the pictures, too. You can edit red-eyes right on the camera! I love this camera and I totally recommend getting it! I wish I could give it MORE than 5 stars!
Great Camera at a Good Price!!! Easy to use with enough features for beginners. The pictures are amazing in 12.1 MP but I use it to sell items on ebay with the 8 MP setting. Overall good purchase. Black only available online.
i love this camera. it had many different modes to make any situation helpful. fairly easy to use and great quality. only down side is sony cameras only take memorystick duo so i had to buy a new memory stick.
I bought this camera to take on our 2 week vacation. Battery life was long, took great pictures. I bought a memory that holds like 900 pictures. Not one blurry picture taken in a moving car. Photos at night in Downtown Las Vegas came out beautiful. I snapped pics one right after another of the Dancing Fountain at the Bellagio and they are just great. I have no problems and would recommend this camera.
Very pleased! Camera takes wonderful clear photos not to mention is compact and light enough for travel. Only downfall is battery life could be extended. I would invest in a back-up battery you can easily purchase on ebay for $15
