Fairly priced and well worth the purchase. I use these for guest that come over to my personal firing lane on my property. I wear my expensive noise cancelling ones.
Just got these yesterday and took them out today. They work great and are very comfortable. Shooting a .45 with a 3.3 inch barrel and the sound is hardly noticeable. I have large ears and these cover nicely. Would very much recommend these for the price.
Just used these nice muffs for the first time. While shooting at the local gun range, they provided great hearing protection plus they were very comfortable to wear.
The fit and hearing protection are both excellent, especially for the price. Tried these out with a snub nose .357, my 12 gauge 870 and a 9mm, hearing protection is fantastic. With a little care these look like they will last for years.
Took a chance and bought this product on price alone expecting average comfort and reasonable hearing protection. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the fit and how comfortable they are. The noise protection is very good. And the most surprising aspect of the product was how easily it folded up into the same small size it was in the plastic shipping packaging, they fit great in my shooting bag. Love them, and would recommend them to anyone that wants a good product at a good price.
These were on sale and work exactly as advertised. After a long day of centerfire handgun shooting my ears felt as though nothing had happened' except for the usual "I've had tight-fitting earmuffs on all day with shooting glasses" syndrome. Seriously, these seem a very good value, are well constructed, and fit my large head just fine. Good decibel reduction ratings.
Great, rugged-feeling product for shooting practice. I had the idea when purchasing them that they might be quick to slip on in a home defense situation, but no-- they work too well. I can't hear a darn thing with these on. My .357 sounds like somebody popping a paper bag. (I'm happy)
As someone who wears an xl hat, I was pleasantly surprised with the fit of these muffs. They are the most comfortable out of the 5 pair of muffs I own. You can wear them for 4-5 hours at the range and not leave with a headache due to having a case of cauliflower ear.
THESE EARMUFFS FIT COMFORTABLY ON MY AVERAGE TO BIG EARS, BUT I HAVEN'T USED THEM AT THE RANGE YET. I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THEY WERE SOUND CANCELLING, BUT THEY ARE NOT. THE HIGHER 29 DB RATING IS NICE ANYWAY AND THEY FEEL DURABLE. I COULD NOT HEAR TV OR SPEECH ONCE ON. FREE SHIPPING IS THE KEY.
Overall, they look OK. I haven't had a chance to test them out at the range, but based on my initial "TV test", I'm reasonably sure that they will do the job. They seem comfortable enough, a vast improvement over my old ones. One of the "muffs" slid off the wire ends of the "halo" the first time that I tried to adjust them, which I certainly didn't anticipate. It went back on without any difficulty and seems solid enough, but it was a bit annoying, all the same. That issue aside, they are far nicer than comparably priced hearing protection that I looked at elsewhere. If they prove sufficient for the range, I plan to buy a second pair.
