i love that they are individually wrapped.
For use with Free Style Libre Reader; I use to verify numbers provided from the continuous glucose “buttons”. Check well after a meal, 2 hrs plus (buttons have long lag time). I've noticed recently that buttons either consistently read high or low by as much as 50. So it's worthwhile to perform an old finger stick every few days, best after waking up before meal.
Very well pl,eased with these as my sensor went bad on me and I had to have a replacent sent. So I have gone thru a lot of these so far.
The 50 strip package, is "only $4 more", than the package containing "only 25 strips". I save $11 each time. I stick my fingers 4 times a day. After 10 days, that's "40 strips". I'll keep my money mine, as long as I can.
Most of the time readings are consistent, but occasionally up to 20 points different when doing 2 readings one right after the other.
I use these all the time, but keep in mind that readings are not always accurate. I've often pricked 2 different fingers to see if results vary at the same time, and they do. But it keeps my prediabetes in check coz if you do a reading on fasting, it'll set the pace for the day as to what you can and should not eat.
I'm sure they work, but Walmart needs to train their staff better. Wanted to purchase Freestyle Lyte strips. These do not work with my meter
