Easy machine to use and is rated as having 99% accuracy. I use to use it but didn't want to pay for the high priced strips. Used many other but came back to this one for its accuracy.
I was in need of a new device to test my glucose level once daily. I read the reviews for the different brands and decided to purchase the Contour. It arrived as promised. Read both pamphlets, but not the user guide. Easy to follow instructions. Easy set up for the meter.Happy colors (bonus) for the lancets. I performed my first test, simple and easy. No coding required. Just test and go. The pouch holds everything neatly. The only other item I add to my kit, if desired, is alcohol wipes for cleaning the test site. Ready, Set, Test
This meter is more accurate than a previously purchased brand. The app is easy to sync and the large display and color codes make it easy to ready. The same goes for the app, and the ability to print or send reports to your provider. You can sync multiple meters to the app. I have one in my office bag and another in my gym bag.
It really is the perfect size. I use a CGM but you still need to have a manual one to check. Its size is fantastic. Easy to pack and take along Like I said perfect.
I recently purchased the Contour Next One Value Pack to replace my more expensive Accu-Check and Freestyle monitors due to the high cost of their test strips. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I like this meter far more than my previous ones! Not only are the Contour Next One strips more affordable, but they also require less blood, wick easily, and have far fewer wasted strips, all at a lower cost. I love the small size of this monitor, which makes it much easier to carry around with me. Despite its compact size, the readings are displayed in large, easy-to-read characters on a lit green display. One feature that I didn't expect was the ability to connect the device to my phone via Bluetooth, which keeps a log of all my readings. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase of the Contour Next One Value Pack. Not only has it made it more affordable for me to test my blood sugar levels as I should, but it's also far easier to use and carry around with me. I am VERY happy with this meter.
The very detailed, yet convoluted instructions say that a calibration liquid should be used before 1sdt use, but it dopes not include it. So, that is not so great. It leaves me thinking that the results I see are not accurate or reliable until I order the calibration solution.
Theres room for at least 100 strips per bottle but they send only 10! I was able yo put FOUR bottles worth in one bottle inside the ill fitting case with room to spare!
Does not work and there's no return at Walmart. Totally disappointed and dissatisfied with Contour. They won't simply provide a troubleshooting guide… just wasting strips. Same code all the time. They only say call because they don't want any evidence of poor quality in writing.
I bought this on walmart.com The pictures of the box on there, AND the written description, only say it comes with the meter and 20 test strips. So you have to buy a lancing device and lancets separately to be able to use it from that info. So I also in the same order purchased a lancing device and some lancets. When I picked up my order from Walmart (they brought it to my car), I took the sack and went home. A few hours later when I had time, I opened the sack. Two huge disappointments. First, the box that I actually got says that it also has a lancing device and some lancets in the box. Great, just wasted $13 on the other ones I bought because you showed EVERY side of the box except that one, making me think I had to buy these separately. Walmart will not let me return the lancing device and lancets for a refund, even though I haven't opened them, due to what they are. Next, I go to the top of the box of THIS item to cut the tape open. WAIT A MINUTE! THE SAFETY SEAL TAPE IS GONE! You can see the residue where it used to be on top, and the piece on the front is partially there. Walmart SERIOUSLY just sold me an OPENED BLOOD TESTER! That should not be on the shelf even! And then for the order picker to actually put that in my bag?!?! You are not allowed to return these for an exchange or refund for any reason either BECAUSE of the safety hazard! And you SOLD this to me?!?! I can't use this!
take a look at the photo. do YOU see any expiration date on there? THIS os the way it was suipped to me. Just what do you people expect me to do with THIS?! And? IM DISABLED! I CAN'T GET OUT!!! 🤬
