I have a big house and it reaches the backyard
Hooks up easily and almost programs itself. Very easy to work with.
Fast. Great coverage overall. Bought an extender, but it wasn't necessary.
I was using my Motorola Surfboard wireless modem to send the WiFi through my house. The signal was pretty weak and was not even available in a couple rooms. With the NetGear my signal strength is awesome and I even have WiFi in all of the rooms of my house and those that had no signal now we get great connection. So glad I made the purchase...love it!
Excellent product! It is a big improvement over the 8 year old g router that I was using. I am getting the full 35 mps that I am paying the cable company for over wireless. This router is very powerful. I have a large 2 story house, and have no problem getting a strong signal everywhere including the back yard. This is a dual band router and the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands both work well. I am especially impressed by the range of the 5 GHz band! . It is very easy to use and set up. Just go to the router log in page. Everything is perfect at the default settings, but you can customize it in numerous ways.
I am very happy with my new router. It was suggest by a T-Mobile operator because I was getting very poor service from my old router. I hooked it up to the modem as suggested and have been in Wi-Fi heaven. It carries over 8 devices easily.
We purchased this router along with an iPad for Christmas for my parents. They had no computers or smart phones but they had a cable bundle from there local provider and they weren't using the Internet. We had a technician set up the router for them and they said he had it set up in no time and it was working great for them, even outside or downstairs in their garage. They loved their Christmas present.

This router exceeded my expectations. It was easy to install. I have a large home and utilize many devices and this has a much broader range than my previous router and easily accommodates our devices. Connections are much improved. We are very pleased!
Works fine for, oh, about 2 days. Then the 5g band disappears. Happened on 2 of them for me. Two support will tell you to return it.
