Great selection of passages and challenging questions !!
This book provides great passages to help me highlight the differences between fiction and nonfiction to my students. As a homeschool teacher I sometimes find it hard to find short passages on similar topics that include both fiction and nonfiction, so this book saves me time. The comprehension questions that go along with the passages also give me a good idea of my students' understanding of the passages. I would recommend this book to other homeschool teachers as a great resource to monitor students' growth and give students a better understanding of fiction and nonfiction. I participate in the Brand Ambassador Program for Carson-Dellosa and have received this product for free to review.
I am really excited to use this in my classroom this year! We are working on learning the difference between fiction and nonfiction and I love that this book gives you a nonfiction and fiction passage about the same topic and then questions to help students understand the difference! This is a great source for to havepassages available without searching to find a mate.
This resource will help my students prepare for state assessments that require paired passage practice. The worksheets aren't too lengthy for second grade. I am also planning to use them with very low 3rd graders.
I can't wait to start using these with my students!
Great filler activity for extra English practice. It can be done a couple of pages at a time and isn't too overwhelming.
