I had one before and after many many years of service it finally quit, so, I bought the same machine. So easy to clean, love the flavor options, self clean and it makes a fine coffee.
What a great coffee maker! Makes the best coffee!! Its easy to use and looks great on the kitchen counter
I've had mine for almost three months and let me tell ya, this is the best coffee maker ive ever had. It makes the best tasting coffee and im sure anyone who buys it will agree. Few months in and no issues at all makes great coffee. Comes with 3 settings, bold, single, and regular plus a self clean. If you want fantastic coffee buy this maker you wont regret it. Its not a cheap maker by any means, other markets have it for about $50-70 you just get a way better deal at walmart.
I love the profile and the removable water tank. The flip out fill for coffee grounds is essential to fit under my cabinet. The one drawback I've found is that it takes a very long time to brew- like 11-12 minutes
The likes--The removable water tank is easy to take off and fill (no pouring into the coffeemaker). Front load is also a time saver so you do not have to pull it out from under the cabinets. Mine is on a shelf so both features come in handy. Make sure the basket is secure otherwise it will leak everywhere. (I did it once) The dislikes--only a 2 hour timer before it turns off. The lid on the reservoir is not attached and has a slightly imperfect fit. Not a deal breaker, but seems like oversight from Hamilton Beach
I have been using this for several years so it is passed the warranty. I really liked it at first. I loved the look and really loved that it does not have an annoying beep when done brewing. But then the door for the grounds started to swing open while brewing. Now the really annoying thing is that it is often overflowing the water from the basin and not going into the brew pot. We have to put a cookie sheet under it because it happens so often. I have cleaned it several time and checked the rubber stopper that is on the bottom of the water basin. So I am searching for a new coffee maker but it is hard to find one that does not have a beep at the end of brewing.
The first two weeks I loved it! I could fill at the sink, the top swung out, it brewed quickly. The programmable feature was wonderful until, about two weeks later, we would wake up to an itty bitty amount of very strong coffee, but water everywhere. It leaks from the bottom constantly now. I am taking it back today.
I was so excited about this coffee maker. I was also WARNED about this coffee maker, was told from a friend that after having it for some time it started to leak... I thought, well she must of had it for a WHILE.. it will be fine. I bought third coffee maker in November of 2020, its April of 2021.. went to name coffee this morning and after setting the filler inside with water, my counter immediately filled with water, it leaked all out of the bottom. water cane out from the screw holes, the seams, everywhere! I am so furious.. this WAS by far the best coffee make we had owned but to not still be kicking butt 6 months later is such a waste of $52. I will be looking at different brand makers today.
We have had the coffee maker less than a month. Woke up and found water all over the counter, down the cabinets, and on the floor. Repeated the coffee making process and it happened again. Not pleased. Do not want to go to the store during this pandemic and do not have packaging for return. UGH!
This is garbage. Don't waste your money. After about two weeks of use (smooth brewed a day...so not like heavy use/multiple nonstop coffee being made...just ONE pot every morning) we started noticing water on the counter. Thought it was a fluke. Then more and more water. It is obviously leaking, and now a great deal. About what would be a quarter of the pot of coffee (enough water to saturate an entire dish towel) ends up on the counter through the bottom of the maker and never gets brewed. Of course the packaging is long gone...but I may still carry this into walmart as-is to try and return it. What a waste.
