Tried it out for the first time this past weekend...worked GREAT! Very quiet compared to the old gas powered model...I'm sure the neighbors appreciated that...no complaints. Cut well, easy to start, lightweight.
It was time to replace our old gas mower for our small grassy areas. I read many reviews before deciding to purchase a cordless electric mower last month. It is everything they say....light, quiet, easy to start, maneuverable, effective, and actually fun to use. I had some issues with the online order system and mistakenly ordered two mowers, but I received excellent help from the customer service rep with the return/refund process of the extra mower. The directions for assembly and use were a bit intuitive; I prefer a more detailed manual. However I have had no problems since then. We have used both the bag and the mulching option. It's so nice not needing gasoline or the other engine maintenance. Being "green" is easy with this Greenworks mower!
I was using a corded mower and this solved that issue for me. It works like a charm and the battery lasts a decent time. Love the blade height adjustment, one handed is a nice touch. I have some visible tree root that I can now roll over without touching them and keeps my lawn looking good. I have no complaints. Mowing the lawn is no longer a hassle.
I have really enjoyed this mower so far. Are use regular gas mowers as a kid this is my first hour of my own as an adults. The battery lasted over 45 minutes for me to mow my entire back yard which is a decent area. It will run out faster if you stop and start a lot (which I did more the first time I used it). The clipping catcher bag is a little small but set up and use are so simple, the unit feels pretty light while mowing, and I love the simplicity.
It works beautifully and starts easily. The bag fills quickly, so I have no problem with the re-starts. It charges relatively quickly and I had to because my yard is greater than a quarter of an acre. The manual is terrible so thank God for YouTube because that is where I learned how to do everything EXCEPT LOCK the lower CAM latches which I have not been able to do as of yet.
had to take my headphones off just to make sure it was still working. It's so quiet compared to my gas mower. i did have to pick up an extra battery to do my entire yard, but i had expected i would need to. so far I am loving it
Very easy to assemble, operate, and maneuver! Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the runtime after each charge lasts only around 30-40 minutes, but everything else is 5 star level.
I love my battery operated mower! It's lightweight %26 easy to push (for this senior lady). The battery stays charged for 2 complete lawn mows - for my small yard %26 small front yard. I love the ease with which to lower/heighten the cutting blade, so that I can cut the edges neatly without using an edger! See the picture for the crust edging!! The cons-the plastic body makes it seem cheap, and I think could easily crack (but the plastic is what makes it so light so 🤷🏻♀️). All in all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase!
Lightweight, fairly quiet. Powerful enough for small yard. Concerned about the deck material as a rock or other hidden object may damage it. No battery issues.
Much louder and heavier than the battery powered brand that thus replaced. Bought it because I own other Greenworks products but not thrilled with this one.
