I have had this vac for a few weeks and I am impressed with it so far. It's pretty cheap compared to the other ones I have seen. I have been using it to vacuum out my car and its been pretty effective. easy to move around because of the wheels, good power so it actually picks up the small pieces of trash, the extensions really help. Basically it does what you need it to do and it doesn't cost as much as others in the market. Also, a reliable name. Worthwhile buy.
I have owned all of the top brands, last two were Craftsman. Other than the hose length and size this one has them all beat! Literally sucked the carpet off the floor while cleaning along the baseboards! The price and power cannot be beat, worth $150.00.
Perfect for my needs! Ive had several shop vacs but all were too cumbersome to use. This is the perfect size. Easy to use and store.
I replaced a wet/dry vacuum that was 25 years old. I couldn't believe that I dragged that heavy thing around for so long after I purchased this vacuum. It is the best vacuum. It does have a 1 7/8 inch hose, but attachments can easily be found through Sears online. I purchased a dusting brush and car cleaning attachments for this product and I clean everywhere with it. Great suction power (6HP), rolls around on wheels, easy to handle and the price can't be beat! I would recommend this to anyone looking to make cleaning up a whole lot easier.
It has been only one day since I brought this unit home. I don't usually purchase anything without reading plenty of reviews. But in this case, there were no reviews to be found anywhere. For $58, it seems to be a bargain, but one of my major concerns was whether I could readily obtain filters and bags. A bit of research has shown that this unit takes a standard filter and is nearly identical to a few other vacs on the market (that is probably because they use the same manufacturer). so I pulled the trigger and hoped for the best. Thus far, I am impressed with the high power, and the quality appears sufficient for my needs. It also has some nice features such as the large wheels and a blower outlet. This unit is made in China, so I am still not sure how durable it will be, but I bought the 2 year protection plan for an extra $4, just in case it proves to be a dud. I have some high hopes for it. If my opinion changes, I will be back here to tell about it.
This thing has some serious power and sucks up a ton of water very quickly. I love the stainless container for those times that I'm too lazy to clean the tank right away. The handle us great with the large rear wheels for rolling along. For what it is, an inexpensive homeowners wet vac, it kicks butt and you'd have to spend a lot more on professional equipment to do better.
I've only used it once but its suction is stronger than any wet/vac I've ever owned. I like the fact that it's on casters and wheels. However, there were no assembly instructions in the box, only a users manual. It's not clear where the hose should be stored and there are no instructions regarding hose storage. The user's manual does not clearly describe whether the filter cartridge should be used when picking up large amounts of water. The manual actually says you shouldn't but then goes on to say you should. There are no instructions regarding cord storage either. The manual does not explain how to install the filter bag. I had to search youtube to verify my assumptions regarding use of the bag.
I was looking for a shop vac with a powerful motor - to clean out my central air ducts - for a reasonable price. This certainly fits the bill. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the owners manual leaves a lot to be desired - in the way of assembly instruction - and also the storage of attachments and hose doesn't seem to be really well thought out or designed. Otherwise, it's a powerful little vac for the price.
I ordered this vac on 9/4/17 and received it 9/6/17 so bravo for shipping speed. I read where others had received this item dented so I was observant when Fed-Ex delivered it and there was absolutely no damage to the box. However, once unpacked there were numerous dents in the can. It almost appeared that some employee at Stanley purposely damaged the item. The vac still "sucked" so I just took a rubber mallet and pounded out the dents the best I could. That being said, if Walmart is going to sell me a scratch and dent item they should at least knock off 20% of the price. I live too far from a Walmart to return it so I'll just use it pre-damaged.
Great product, great HP with suction. Delivered within a week of purchase. After unpacking the item, I discovered a huge dent on the front. I am not happy about that. Not sure what happened. Changes need to made somewhere.
