Atlas Master? TTX? "On Track For A Cure" 53' Rebuilt Well Car, N Scale Gunderson introduced the 53' well car in the 1990's when more and more 53' trailers and containers came into use over the nation's highways. Fashioned from surplus 48' cars, the rebuild program resulted in two sizes of rebuilt well cars. Removing a section of the cars yielded the 40' version; while welding new sections in place at each end, produced the 53' car. Adorned in the TTX? and Susan G. Komen Foundation "On Track For A Cure" paint scheme and Road #475412, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these N scale cars is being donated to the foundation for breast cancer research.
