Great, works as expected.
Love this product! Installation is easy and it travels well. I also have a smaller one, can't remember the dimensions but the cords weren't as thick and sturdy. Ordered an additional cord with this new screen and absolutely love them. They are sturdier. Excellent product!
I have owned the 12.5 swivel for over two years. I love it and have mounting on both sides of my lap-top. I just purchased the 14 inch swivel. It is heavier but the clarity is phenomenal. The only thing that upsets me is that I ordered the 12.5 by mistake. Sent an email immediately. I called the next business day. I started calling at 9 am and finally got through at 10:30. The customer service rep said no problem. When you receive it send it back and order the 14 inch. She did neglect to tell me that there is a restocking charge.
Barely more than a year after buying this product, the USB-C port stopped working properly, causing the monitor to cut out often. I called customer service at SideTrak and was told I was S.O.L. They didn't even offer to repair it. DO NOT BUY!!!!
I bought this monitor one month ago with high hopes. After using it two times the screen broke and glitched when I turned it on. I was told by customer service that this damage was caused by me and that it was not their fault. I put this screen in an EMPTY backpack, there is no reason any damage should have occurred on a well manufactured screen. This was $350, extremely expensive and now i can no longer use it. I am extremely disappointed and angry with the customer service response. I need a second monitor for work and now and down almost $400 and no monitor. Do no buy. Nothing that is this fragile should be for sale and not have a good return policy. Scam.
Worked for 14 months. 2 months longer than its warranty. Doesnt turn on or get recognized by computer. I have tried multiple different connections and cords.
the monitor was great to start with but i plugged it in a few days ago and the screen had a line through it, no scratch or anything on the outside, totally internal problem out of my control. Sidetrak customer service phone number was never once picked up. They basically responded to my email saying they were unwilling yo help or do anything. Waste of money and terrible terrible customer support.
I bought one, and found the screen to be flimsy and plastic soft; scratching easily. After 4 months on travel, I over-packed my laptop bag (admittedly), and the pressure cracked the screen. Laptop monitor and everything else fine. Contacted support and they wouldn't replace as they called it "accidental damage". If you'll travel with it, I'd recommend getting something more rugged. The cable and things you have to stick to your laptop are also hinky design, IMHO.
The first week i had it, it worked great. After that the thing would repeatedly connect/disconnect every 5 minutes or so. Reached out to SideTrak, got no response. After 5 months the thing stopped working completely. Every time i plug it in my computer says the device is "malfunctioning". Again, SideTrak does not answer or respond to emails.
