Fantastic idea, my 12 year old is over the moon
kids absolutely love this Avengers Advent calendar. they can't wait to open it every day
Great for any child that loves Lego. Each day counting down to Christmas they get a little Lego to build. They also get some mini figures, some that are specific to the particular Advent calendar. This one is great for anyone that loves Avengers.
Naturally, the kids have not seen these yet. However, they did see the ads and asked for them. I love the idea of tiny beloved toys rather than candy. And definitely better thasn the tiny picture that was behind each door when we were kids!
Hard to go wrong with Lego. We're 20 days into the Advent season as I write this, and the little mini-builds each day are great fun - Iron Man as a snowman; Spider-Man in a Christmas sweater; a tiy Avengers tower, etc. Highly recommended.
So far everything has been fine but for day 15 I got the Christmas tree instead of captain marvel. I haven't opened the rest of the calendar yet so I don't know if she is in a different spot but still kind of weird. Other than that it is a cool set.
Every year we get my son a Lego advent calendar and this year it has been disappointing. half the items you don't even know what they are, there's no information on them, and they aren't even pictured on the box. Some days are just add-ons to other pieces instead of putting them all together which is SUPER CHEAP of Lego to do! last year's Lego City advent calendar had a unique item each day and it was amazing. This year has been a bit of a joke and disappointing for my 6-year-old boy. He looks forward to this every year and he's trying to laugh about it now when he gets these random dumb things. Skip this one and get a different Lego Advent calendar, trust me!
My grandson did not like this as much as a prior Lego advent calendar. I am not sure why--he just kind of lost interest in opening it each day.
