Easy to put up ! Put air into top ring, spread pool of and get stretout so no lines. Add water and sides will rise up with water. As it fills, push out the lines on bottom so it is flat and smooth. Once it is passed holes where filter is, turn it on.
This is our second Intex pool and we love it! We had our first one for 11 years and finally had to say good-bye to it because the ring wouldn't fill all the way up with air. I think 11 years is a pretty good run though! We set up our new one last week and it's perfect! No leaks, no damage. We purchased it in February 2020 before the prices went up and before they they all sold out so we got lucky. We use a salt water pump, not the one that comes with it but years ago we used the original pump and it worked great, we just like salt water better. It's easier on the swim suits and it's easier to keep PH. We dump 4 bags of salt in at the beginning and we're done for the season, no shock and no more salt. We had little kids when we bought the first one and now they're all teenagers and we all still get in it. We will leave it up until early September and then take it down and store it in our shed until next year. Easy peasy :)
I bought this same pool last summer and loved it! Affordable for my use. Anything more - would justify an above ground real pool. I found it tough to clean because its round, but I did empty and clean it twice last year. This also helps put cool water back in when the temps warm the pool water too much. I shopped around this year but really wanted this size with filter. Recommend!!
Easy set up. Easy maintenance. Perfect for my 3-5 year olds. They can touch the bottom but it's large enough for me to enjoy also. Very pleased with this pool.
Great for me. Like to float and tan. However the filter and pump are smaller than the last one I got. So I have to clean it out more often. But overall great pool.
THE POOL WAS EASY TO ASSEMBLE. IT WAS JUST RIGHT FOR MY SMALL GRANDCHILDREN, DUE TO THE HEAT THE POOL WAS JUST A JOY TO OBSERVE THEM HAVING FUN DURING THEIR VISIT DOWN SOUTH.
A good option for a small family. MUST have a flat surface. No slight elevation or little dip, you will definitely see it.
Quick fix to a quarantined family life but plan to get a lot of extras. And plan on 10 hours to fill it with your garden hose. Be sure to upgrade to the intex 2500 gph pump, no question. Be sure to get several extra filters to have on hand. Be sure to get a water test kit, and have extra funds to buy all the different chemicals necessary to make the water balanced and safe. Be sure to have more than just two people to remove the cover if you use it because the weight of it will pull down the pool side and you'll lose gallons of water. You could invest in a pool repair kit in case you have a leak in the ring, but good luck finding it. Once the pool is up, you're kinda stuck with it. Solar cover is a nice extra to warm up the water. The pool cleaning kit will be necessary too. All in all, it works, and for much cheaper price that a professionally installed pool. HOWEVER, if you weigh anything over 130 lbs. the ladder will scare the beans out of you. It is not sturdy at all!
This is the third pool of this similar type I've had over the years with different brands. With this Intex Easy Set pool, I set it up and it had least 5 water leaks in the vinyl sided section of the pool which I patched, and then found another spot on the bottom of the pool that is leaking out water. In addition, the top ring that is full of air and keeps the pool upright had two visible pin holes as I filled it with air that I patched. I repaired these two holes, but the following day the top ring was completely deflated again. The top ring does not appear to be attached properly to the vinyl siding part as it was not like previous pools I had bought and did not sit like it is supposed to protruding out from the top of the pool as shown in the picture on the box. Sad that I haven't even gotten to use the pool and have spent so much time trying to make it work.
Walmart refuses returns of purchases made online at Walmart site from one of shady retailers. Seems like a pattern. Dispute with your card carrier will also fail. We left defective product with all accessories at CS counter of our local Walmart, and never got any money back. Shame on Walmart.
