I bought this case about a month ago and it's the 4th time I've had a “Frē” style of Lifeproof case for an Apple product. I'm absolutely happy with my case and how it works! I water tested it prior to install so if I care to expose my phone to the elements I can do so without worry. On a previous case of the same style I had issues with the sounds being muffled - everyone I spoke with on the phone said it sounded like I was in a tunnel and they couldn't hear me well, and the sound I heard was tinny - that has been corrected with this new model and I'm very pleased. I 100% would purchase another and would recommend.
Bought this phone case during the global pandemic and I'm happy that I can bleach/disinfect my phone after a day out in the world and I know the phone itself is protected. I also really like the snap close of the lightning port access hatch. Its thin design keeps my pocket from being bulky and I love the color.
I've had several of these cases on my phones now over the years and they have been great. They've been drenched when I've been on fire cover and survived and dropped of ladders and my hasn't even had a scratch on it
I absolutely love this! I go snorkeling all the time and love to use this to ensure that I can take my phone under the sea =) Helps me get great results
It's my 3rd Lifeproof for my iPhones and they supported and protected all my trips with bike and ski and also to the beaches and under water perfectly. Rather expensive but works perfect!
I've used Lifeproof cases for my last 4 phones....since 2011 and have NEVER had a problem with them! When I go on vacation my phone is in the water with me while swimming and taking videos! One of my favorite things to do in the summer is read a book while in the water cooling off.....with this case I can! And I love it!! While I just bought this case for my iPhone 8 I just got, I do plan to use it underwater when cruising in Mexico in April and again this summer on the beach!
Great product love the water proof part and dust proof part of this case but to me the case wears out to fast and the outer coating wears off to fast.
Bought it for my 11 yr old she loves the color but it doesn't close correct on the corner. I have tried several times to get it to close and it does not. Also, it's hard to hear her talking to me when I call since we put the case on. So far the protection is good, but I worry. I did the water seal test but the corner would close right without the phone. How it will protect with the phone with that corner not as tight, I don't think I trust it.
While it does fit the iPhone SE 2022 version, it's not the best fit. The phone is thinner than the previous version and as a result, the phone kind of floats inside the case. all functions do work though, but sometimes this floating around causes the silent/ring switch to change and the camera lens/flash aren't always seated against the ports in the case. The rubber edges do wear down quickly and are easily nicked. Sound quality through the case is so-so.
This is the second case I have bought. While I love the protection it provides this is the second time the area around the charge opening has cracked. I'm pretty gentle with it so I have no idea why this is happening other than poor construction.
