[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just used my Greenworks Hedge Trimmer for the 1st time this weekend and was very pleased with the performance and efficiency of this new tool. I have always used my standard clippers and pruners in the past and took pride in keeping my holly hedge well manicured. This Greenworks trimmer did a great job in much less time and was able to cut through 1/2 inch branches with no problem as long as I cut them perpendicularly.
I mean I'm no expert and it was the first time I ever trim hedges and it was easy and simple, I was kind of torn between greenworks and Ryobi and I'm so glad I went with greenworks, I have a couple of 60v batteries and I love my 60v tools
I have used a corded trimmer my whole life .This trimmer is light weight and with a 60 volt battery it is very powerful . I now own 4 Green Works products with a total of 5 batteries . Good bye extension cords and gasoline .

One of the things I like the most is that the battery packs work on all my equipment. My neighbor next door was very interested in my lawnmower and how well it worked. Yard work for me is easy and enjoyable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used this for about an hour, but I am impressed. It made quick work of tough pampas grass. I was a little worried whether it could handle bush branches that were about 1/4 inch thick, but it went through those like nothing. Easy to use, nice balance, not too heavy, good safety lock-outs, quiet.
Easy to use very easy to maneuver and charges fast! Makes a nice even cut blades are excellent!
Overall, this is an excellent hedge trimmer. It'll cut through pretty significant brush and tree limbs. With the battery it is a bit bulky and heavy, but I like the handle, twisting sideways for working up bushes and hedges. Overall very pleased with this brand and model. Highly recommended.
I used this yesterday for the first time. It's such a joy to not have to drag around an extension cord, and to eliminate the worry of accidentally cutting through it. 26” is a HUGE blade, and since I am 5'6”, it was a tad unwieldy, causing me to think I might cut myself while in close quarters around bushes. It's a bit heavy, but I expected it with the battery. It's well-balanced, I'm just getting old and losing muscle mass. I took breaks to mitigate the fatigue.
Recently bought a house with severely overgrown hedges and wanted electric to avoid the cords. Worked on 25 hedges on different varieties/sizes and this trimmer battery stayed strong the entire time. Cuts amazing, adjustable handle made the job easier, and it's quiet. I am a believer now in battery powered yard tools and highly recommend Greenworks.

I like the fact that I can rotate the handle for horizontal/vertical cutting. The listed 1.1" cut capacity is a bit optimistic in real world application but the trimmer performs well on most type of brush in my yard.
