Easy to set up and use. This is my second Tom Tom unit. I don't use it much but when I need it, it is accurate and easy to use.
Good map userface. Simple and easy. Can see my phone messages on screen! Free lifetime maps, and tomtoms road trips feature which shows you cool trips other locals have recommended!
much better than a garmin
I've always liked TomTom GPS devices and intended to replace my 10 yr old one with a new model.. but I wasn't impressed with this one at all... and retuned it for a more expensive Garmin 71 ex with traffic. It was very difficult to update out of the box. Tried both connecting it to a computer and via wi-fi. The instructions were a joke. It showed me arriving at destinations about 100-150 yards before actually at the address.
Disappointed with tomtom, a had this gps less then a month and couldnt get live traffic to work or connect to my iPhone and support is nonexistent. Also a few addresses I put in the tomtom didnt recognize but google maps does. Had to return it because the reasons I bought it was the real time traffic and hands free talk and text but none of these features work! Software is garbage!
