[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the prior iteration of this washer, which finally bit the dust after 7 years. I was hoping to get more than 7 years from a washer, but we are HEAVY users. Due to two kids with a bladder condition who wet the bed nightly for years, we probably wash 3 loads per day, EVERY DAY. The last washer did such a good job of cleaning, especially delicate fabrics that an upright washer would ruin, that that despite it's relatively short lifespan we opted to go with another Electrolux. From prior experience, the door seal and detergent dispenser grows mold very quickly on these units, so we have a system, with the rules posted above the washer for the kids to follow: (1) Always leave the washer door open. (2) Wipe out the door seal to dry it after every wash (we keep a microfiber cloth on a magnetic hook on the side if the washer just for this. (3) Pull out the dispenser tray and let it dry out on the days you aren't using the washer. (4) Don't use too much detergent and fabric softener in it—too much of either shortens the lifespan of your washer and encourages the internal buildup of scunge and gunk. Follow the rules and these Electrolux units will get your clothes nice and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this one to replace my Maytag washer that was constantly stalling on the spin cycle. This washer is quiet, spins so fast and as a result the clothes come out dryer so that my dryer doesn't take forever to dry! It's a win win. I spent more money on this then the Maytag machine but given that it's Energy Star, I will be saving more money over time! It also looks great for when I sell my house. I do have a toddler so her tiny socks do get caught in the rubber gap where the front glass door is but the solution was placing them in those mesh laundry bags. This machine gets a 5 star for more.

Aside from how attractive they are, they work efficiently and with the pedestals, provide ample hidden storage for many laundry related and other items. We are very pleased with our purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with my purchase. So far I had only 2 cycles, but very pleased how it operates. The clothes are clean without stains and steaming option is just amazing. The only thing is that when I'm near it, I hear different noice during operation, but according to the manual it's normal. Plus, I don't really hear them when I go to another room, so it's not really noisy. A great product, lot of different programs, very user friendly and does its job perfectly!

The start delay is great too. It is so quiet. I reversed the front door which is another great option to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gasket harbors a LOT of moisture. I've used many different brands and styles of washers and have never had one that required manual cleaning/drying after every single cycle. If you don't thoroughly dry the gasket after each use, you will get an unbelievable amount of mold. Google “Electrolux gasket mold” for some pictures. It washes my clothes fine but I would've never bought if I had known about the mold
