I am enjoying my ProForm bike. The iFit trainers are awesome and really care about “your” workout. I look forward to my cycling each morning . This has been one of the best purchases I have ever made. :woman-biking: Thank you to ProForm and of course, the iFit trainers. :peace_symbol:️
I can't say enough good things about this studio bike and the entire iFit program! I've used icon fitness products for years, and even sold them along side its competitors and for some reason, I always find myself coming back to them. Pro-form has a long history of quality products and this bike did not fall short! It is well built, easy to put together and as I mentioned before the iFit program is phenomenal. The app itself is very user friendly and the couches/ trainers used are very supportive and push you to become a better version of yourself.
Like most people during Covid I stopped going to my gym, which I loved being a part of. However after not really or easily being able to attend classes I purchased the Proform bike. I was instantly hooked. It uses the IFIT app which super easy to navigate ect. I had never gotten on a bike like this till I purchased it so I was really jumping in head first. I did a lot of research before my purchase and not a day goes by I regret it. The ‘other' bikes on the market were just too expensive. I feel this has all the options I was wanting. Oh and I'm only 5ft tall so if your concerned about that don't be everything adjusts accordingly. My husband and I carried upstairs and put it together ourselves. This was a great purchase and I would do it again.
This bike has worked perfectly. Way cheaper than other bikes in its class. I have no complaints other than the seat but that's because I'm not used to riding everyday.
This bike is top notch. The equipment software and hardware is very reliable (so far so good after about 2 years and alot of use). The difference between this pro form bike and others is the bikes ability to reduce and increase resistance automatically. It is based on the ride you are currently doing. Great overall bike and a more fun way of getting exercise.
Easy Assembly and Quick Delivery. I Love Purchasing, Large Items From Walmart, there Prices are Better Than Everyone, for the Exact Same Item and there Return Policy is Effortless.
Use the ProForm Studio 22 4 times wkly for two years. Bery happy except: 1) handlebar adjustment gets loose every ride, then squeaks and shakes, 2) monitor is slow to respond to touches, and 3) there are very few rides designed specifically for the auto resistance feature, since this is the only bike with this. This last thing is the biggest issue, and hopefully iFit will create more rides specifically to leverage auto resistance.
First the con- updates and saving workouts require a re-try or unplug and reload about 1/8 of the time. Inconvenient and annoying, but it always works in the end. The pros- I feel the bike is, overall, comfortable. I'm 5'3 and I do wish the seat would go forward just a bit more. As for complaints on the seat? It's a bicycle seat, right? I have spent plenty of time in the saddle on my road bike so that's why I always wear good padded cycling shorts. It's a must on any bike. I love the selections of workouts. Some days I ride, some days I do strength training, some days I use the iFit app to run on the treadmill in manual mode and it links to my account, some days I do 2-3 workouts altogether if time allows. I'm currently touring Italy. I mean, who doesn't want to tour Italy on a bike?! I feel the workouts have been fairly suited for my "get back in shape" status. I can adjust modes if I need more resistance-bike or more speed-treadmill to suit my level of endurance and capabilities. I couldn't find a gym in my new town that fit my needs or cleanliness I expected so this fits the bill and the iFit membership is about what I paid for my previous gym. My hubs has set up his own access under the same membership at no extra cost. I, honestly, feared some of the reviews. If it works it's great and you love it. If it doesn't work right out of the box? I think I'd return it without messing around waiting on a missing part or malfunction service appointment and just try again. And read the instructions on assembly. It may save you or you husband some unnecessary cursing. I hope you love your bike as much as I love mine!
Bike is pretty good, seat adjustment is easy, weights to me are useless, since I only want to ride. Turning on the bike is a little in convenient because you have to unplug it. Please put an on off switch on the screen or body of the bike. The screen is great, making adjusting speed and resistance during the ride would make training a little smoother. Still a good bike for what I need till I run it to death or I csn afford to look at better options
Overall the bike frame seems very nice and sturdy with large touch screen monitor. It will definately help you build lot of patience and skillls to deal with frustration in addition to mechanical skills and troubleshooting know how. You might get lucky and get a working equipment but keep the box just in case. Unfortunately it has not worked for me out of the box, Initially the monitor kept showing error message saying update failed. Two hours on phone with iFit help desk and many software updates later it seems able to work, but then the resistance would not adjust from high to low making it too hard to operate. Another call with help desk and more time they will send parts and youtube video on how to replace them myself. My advice to all is to keep the box the machine came in and be ready to fix and replace parts. Wish you all luck.
