Very good on grass or gravel!
We (my 3 nephews, their friends & me) have been riding this Swagtron Hoverboard everyday since 8 June 2017 and today is 16 July. So, it has tons of hours on it and it is still AWESOME! If your are looking for a affordable, quality hoverboard with the plus of having Bluetooth then you found it! This hoverboard is very strong, sturdy, easy to ride and is an all terrain hoverboard. You can buy cheaper, but if you ride this one you first you will regret buying anything else cheaper. You can pay more and get a quality hoverboard with or without Bluetooth, but why pay more when you have the best with Swagtron. Don't get me wrong I have 3 hoverboards, 2 of them are EPIKGOs hoverboards and I love them, but they cost more, aren't quite as tough and don't have Bluetooth. Side by side I love them both, but I have to give Swagtron the winning vote for 3 reasons, price, Bluetooth and 12 miles ride time.
We haven't had a chance to try them out very much yet, but they look like they are very good quality. No issues yet!

After having issues with the first one we ordered we decided to give it another chance because our son loved it but the first had issues with the plate and screw kept coming loose. Now with the 2nd one purchased we will have to once again return it due to issues with where the middle bars come together is actually too close. When my son goes to turn on the hoverboard it catches slightly and trips him. Which for $400 I expect better quality!
Im disappointed was very much looking forward to this board. I would ride and it would randomly shut off and throw me off. I tried recallibrating hoping that would fix the issue and it hasnt.
When it works, it usually feels smooth and powerful and super quiet. The unit I received, however, does not appear to work - at random intervals, it jitters unpleasantly and makes loud sounds. It also does not self-right. Seems like triggers have been misconfigured somehow. Returning.
Definitely not as advertised - does not travel up inclines (even small ones), works well on flat surfaces. Will not work on dirt paths as indicated in videos. Does not run on gravel. Very unsatisfied, not worth the money at all. I do not recommend this item.
The board arrived broken and was falling apart in the center. The issue made it dangerous to operate. Overall it makes me question the quality and durability. This is very disappointing for a fairly costly hoverboard.
50% failure rate, Extremally difficult to rectify. Well meaning but inept call center associates made the exchange process literally impossible. And wasted a week of my time. Buyer beware.
