My daughter needed a bigger bike. This was one of the few we found that was not pink or purple! She loves it.
It's a very easy bike to ride since I have not ridden a bike for a long time. The only problem is the seat hurts my butt. I will purchase another seat to replace this one.
This is a great bike!! It's been about 10 years since I've on a bike. I am 5"3, 125lbs and happy with my bike. My only problem is with the seat. OUCH!!! I will deffinately be buying a new seat. I was able to switch gears with ease. I only had this bike for two days. Me and my son were up hills, down hills and around the park. Nice price for such a nice bike. The walmart associate was very helpful with tips showing me how to adjust the seat. I would recommend this bike.
I can't find any flaws with this bike plus it just looks great with this color combination. My 9 year old loves everything about it but the seat but I knew that was coming. (Walmart sells the Gel cover for about $10.) For those complaining about loose parts or things not working, geez, I'd never let my child get on a bike without giving it somewhat of an inspection. It took less than 5 minutes to test everything & I did it all with 3 wrenches. I assure you it's not rocket science. Also it's lighter than I expected so it's easy to toss in the truck for a ride on the Greenway! When she outgrows this one we'll get the 26" version with basically the same color combo, only in reverse.
This is a very sturdy, fun bike to ride. I am an adult woman and found this bike fits my height perfectly. Not to mention it being a great value for the price too. You can't go wrong with this one.
I bought this for my daughters 09' xmas she loved it.It works in a little of mud and grass.I WOULD TOTALLY RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT.
The bike is a great bike. The gears are easy to shift but not so easy that i can accidentally shift while riding. The bike doesnt make random noises or break down. lol i use it to make a daily 5 mile commute with 2 miles of exercise every night. Details: i am 5'5 and i weigh 14oibs and the bike works great for me. I suggest you get some bike gloves and a different seat because ooooooh weeee. that sucker hurt me. but if youre fine, im fine. :-) enjoy!
My 11 yr old daughter and I had a really hard time finding a reasonable priced bike sized for her. She loves this bike and rides it every chance she gets! I used Site to Store to purchase the bike and the store was very good about assembling the bike for me with no hassle.
We bought this for our 12 year old and have had the bike a couple of weeks. We have had to tighten the gear shifter on the handle. The chain slipped, and we had to attach the brake cable because it was not attached right. My suggestion is to check the assembly BEFORE it leaves the store. Other than that, the bike is working fine. Good bike for the price.
Bought this for my daughter for Christmas 09. Most of the gears don't work. She has a constant clicking noise because the gears won't catch completely. Although she loves her new bike, I feel I should have just spent a little more and gotten her a name brand that has the quality I would expect.
