It is amazing how it works.. other portable heart blow the car fuse.. this one you connect to your batter and it works great.. plus there are fuses on the heater …
I like my purchase affordable price ship fast and easy install
I bought this for my Ram Promaster City camper van. I sleep in a Big Agnes Lost Ranger 15 sleeping bag when it's cold. The problem is when you get up in the morning. I tested it last night when it was 37 degrees. It didn't keep the van toasty, but it was a great improvement. It only used 35 Amp hours for 8 hours of heat. The two problems I have with the heater is that it doesn't have a thermostat, and the lead wires are aluminum instead of copper. I added a thermostat and shortened the lead wires as short as possible. This worked very well and there was no heat build up in the lead wires at all and the heater was on most of the night and did not turn off during the last 4 hours. There's probably not a lot of danger of the heater providing too much heat.
Heater works okay but fan doesn't isn't as strong for the size. Plus you cannot leave it connected sice there is not a off switch.
good heat short on blower motor!
The bathroom in my motor home has no heat. It is great to get up in the middle of the night and have a warm bathroom or take a shower and not freeze when you get out. The only 2 problems is the way the wires come out of the heater, it doesn't allow you to mount it to the wall and the other issue is it is not thermostatically controlled
Didn't give me the heat I would expect in a vehicle.
I bought it as a temporary solution in a loader tractor that I'm using this winter. The tractor blower fan motor needs to be replaced, but it's too cold and my machine shed is unheated. I thought the Roadpro would put out some heat, but there is very little. I think I wasted $50.
