Description: An FDA-cleared over-the-counter device, Strialite uses a combination of LED light and a heating element as a phototherapy/thermal treatment for the temporary reduction of redness in stretch marks. The red LED light and heat work together to stimulate the skin at the cellular level to help produce collagen, while the gentle heat also temporarily increases local blood circulation. As damaged collagen tissue is gradually replaced, over time the appearance of red stretch marks is temporarily reduced. In a four-week study: -90% of users noticed an improvement in the appearance of stretch marks with redness with 53% reporting slight improvement and 37% reporting good improvement How do I use it: Strialite can be applied on the abdomen, hips, thighs, breasts, and back. Gently clean the entire treatment area to remove any skin care products, then dry thoroughly. Turn on the device; the LEDs will light up immediately. Allow a few minutes for the device to reach a comfortable temperature before holding it against the skin. You can lay it on its side during this time. Holding by the handle, apply the base directly to the treatment area. The entire panel should be in contact with the treatment area. You should feel a gentle warmth during treatment; the heat should not be uncomfortable. Treat the desired area for 20 uninterrupted minutes, twice a week. Keep the device on the area continuously for the entire treatment time. If the treatment session is interrupted, resume the treatment when you are able.
