[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Laptop is super fast, I get my daily task done. The display in this is super with touch control. I was looking for a laptop to replace my again Microsoft Surface and has to be small 13 or 14 inch was the spot. My only grip is that the memory (ram) cant be upgrade in this model. You have to look other model for that and the optional cellular connectivity. Pen and table mode is a plus also don't forget 3 year warranty is nice touch from Lenovo.

I had gen 1 X1 Yoga for over 5 years and then purchased this Gen 6. I enjoyed the Gen 1 for all 5 years despite some touch screen issues around year 3. I have feeling I'll enjoy another 5 years with the Gen 6 and they've had some time work out the kinks from the first version.

It has replaced my iPad which was 4x's more expensive, and the ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a laptop that folds closed to protect the screen. It's touch screen and I use it exactly as I used to use my iPad. I LOVE IT!

I found that hinges were loosed, and the Lid was falling off. Contacted Lenovo, and they were able to replace it right away. Although I lost some of my essential days because of waiting and replacement. Suggestion for Lenovo: pls increase your quality checks to avoid overall inconvenience and increase customer satisfaction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first introduction to a yoga laptop and it has been worth it every bit of the way. The battery life is good as prescribed. The tablet mode is really useful for my note taking and completing assignments. Although, the battery life of the pen is o minimal, already of an option because completing my assignments sometimes take more than 1.30hrs which is the battery life of the pen. My only other concern is when on tablet mode, the tablet keyboard does not activate immediately all the time. Most times I have to also set the onscreen keyboard in order to be able to type when in tablet mode. This is one of the reasons for 4/5 rating. Fix it and my rating would go up. Plus, the fan also gets noisy when doing heavy task but I have learnt to cool it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to purchase my first ThinkPad to replace the clunky old laptop that I was holding onto for mostly remote work/working on the commute. This ThinkPad's touchscreen, security features, 2-in-1 capability, processor speed and ease of connectivity (to my hotspot or public/company wifi) far exceeded my expectations! The ergonomics of the keys are just right and the back lighting on the keyboard is a godsend when you are working on a plane with the lights off! However, barely a month old and something that I would not expect to happen to a ThinkPad, with its US Department of Defense's MIL-STD 810H certification: the right hinge is somehow bent or damaged, misaligning the screen to the body when closed, and making the screen very loose that it falls back if leaning too much back or forward if leaning too much forward. Now, I did not expect my 1.2hr commute from upstate New York to the City to be comparable to conditions in the Helmand Province, let alone commuting on a coach bus or train be equated to traveling in an Abrams Tank, but I feel a bump here and there, or sudden drop of my backpack containing the laptop (housed in it's sleeve) would not result in the sudden "maiming" of such a "hardy" laptop. While the price tag drop was pretty significant, which is what attracted me to this model, aside from the features that I felt spoke to me, I wonder if its "not so hardiness" had anything to do with it. Safe to say, it still computes away, and the touchscreen is very much functional, which was a concern upon seeing the hinge default. Nevertheless, with any investment, especially anything above $1K, I would expect all the bang for my buck! So, through this review, (or perhaps a little insistence through Customer Service), I would expect to get some options to rectifying this hiccup in quality, mostly getting a replacement.
