Bought this for my sister since her arthritis has been flaring up lately and it works really well. You place the sticky pads on either side of the pain, press start, and increase the electric intensity to where you can tolerate. We found less than 5 on the scale is tolerable. If it hurts you're doing it wrong. The best way I could describe it is like when you fall asleep on a limb and it feels like pins and needles, but localized to the pads and in a good way. Highly recommend for aches and pain management

I researched and found this product - bought it and absolutely love it. I had a different product but it did not provide the flexibility for pad placement and the degree of intensity is much stronger. I am very pleased with my progress and will continue to use also for my sciatic discomfort when it occurs.

This little tens unit is so tiny, yet packs a punch. It is covered by my health insurance also, which made it a sure bet for me. I doubted whether it would work, being so small, but it does the same job that any other unit can do. It may have more limited functions than other units, but has 5 modes and 10 intensity settings. Does the job for me and the replacement pads (generic) are very affordable. Runs on 2 AAA batteries (included) which also makes it a good fit for me, can take it anywhere and don't have to mess with cords, just be sure to always have a spare set of batteries on hand.

Pads are large & comfortable, unit is palm size & portable, cord is plenty long, and there are plenty of setting options (features 3 pre-set pain settings for Arm/Shoulder, Lower Back and Leg/Foot - 2 massage modes - 10 adjustable levels of power intensity). I preferred the steady setting, and other's in the household had their own preferences .. it's nice to have so many setting options. Requires 2 AAA batteries, which are included, along with Pocket Pain Pro unit, cords, 2 long-life pads (good for up to 150 uses), reusable pad holder, and 2 instruction manuals.
I just got back into long distance running at the age of 36. Using this before and after runs has kept the pain manageable. Wonderful product and easy to use.
